JP POV

[The Battle City has already started. I've already beaten a man who was using an Exodia deck. I've beaten a guy named Arkana who said that he had mastered the Dark Magician. Well, my Dark Magician and I showed him otherwise. I defeated a guy named Strings and I won his Egyptian God Card: Slifer the Sky Dragon. I debated whether to put the card in my deck but I decided not to. At least not now. Since I was the last person to see the Kaibas alive, I was given Kaiba's Egyptian God Card: Obelisk the Tormenter. The rest of Kaiba's deck was taken by his brother of whom I still don't know much about. Ishizu has already warned me about why I must win this tournament. I'm friends with the pharaoh inside the millennium puzzle. He can't leave since the original host was destroyed. I thought the pharaoh was destroyed with Yugi but I was wrong. JP (Original POV)

[I was running from Zarc. He showed me what he truly wanted, and I refused to give it to him. He never needed me anyway. He just wanted my deck or at least the cards that he changed. I grabbed my deck and ran. I had to hide somewhere but I also had to disappear. I went to the standard dimension because it was the only place I thought of to go. Zarc was on my tail and I had to hide. I found my standard dimension counterpart and decided to do something that I wished I would never had to do. I took over his body. Well my body? I looked at his deck. It's been forever since I've used this one. I saw that he had two of the Egyptian God Cards. I quickly put them in my deck. Zarc will never find me here. He might think that I just vanished. I have to win this tournament and find a way to stop everything that is happening. I saw that Kaiba invented a new duel disk and I put it on. Joey: Hey, JP! Time to go! We got a whole day of dueling we must get to. I'm going to be doing my first match today.

JP: Who are you thinking of dueling, Joey?
