[Zuzu had been captured by Roget. She was being held hostage. Since Obelisk Force was already here, it meant the Duel Academy was about to attack and Roget wasn't going to let that happen. He also knew that Yuri was probably here as well. They were after the Bracelet girls. Roget wanted to use the bracelet girls as a bargaining chip to the Chancellor. Meanwhile, a certain Dark Signer was making his way to where Zuzu was being held captive. He finds her]
Zuzu: JP (Original), I knew you would rescue me! But why are you wearing those clothes?
JP (Dark Signer): Sorry but I'm not the JP that you know.
Zuzu: Then who are you?
JP (Dark Signer): I'm his Dark Signer Counterpart. That doesn't matter. We're getting out of here.
[JP (Dark Signer) frees Zuzu. As they are walking out. They are confronted by Roget]
Roget: How are you here? You should be dueling! I know your fusion counterpart is protecting Celina, your Synchro counterpart is protecting Rin and Lulu, and your XYZ counterpart just escaped jail. Who are you?
JP (Dark Signer): Someone you wished you didn't mess with.
[JP (Dark Signer) activates his duel disk]
Roget: You want to duel?
JP (Dark Signer): You're from Duel Academy right? Aren't all conflicts supposed to resolved by dueling?
Roget: Don't mock me!
[Roget activates his duel disk]
Turn 1-JP (Dark Signer)
JP (Dark Signer)-8000 LP/Roget-8000 LP
JP (Dark Signer): I'll do the honors. My turn. I place one card face down. I activate the spell: Red Eyes Fusion! I can use monsters that are in my hand or deck to fuse a monster! I use Red Eyes Black Dragon and Summoned Skull! I Fusion Summon! Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!
Archfiend Black Skull Dragon: Level 9: 3200 ATK - - - 2500 ATK
Roget: You didn't have that monster before! You fusion summoned so you must be from Duel Academy.
JP (Dark Signer): They wish.
Zuzu: JP (Original), what happened to you?
JP (Dark Signer): This monster's name becomes Red Eyes Black Dragon. Turn end.
Turn 2-Roget
JP (Dark Signer)-8000 LP/Roget-8000 LP
Roget: My turn. I draw. I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn with two face downs.
Turn 3-JP (Dark Signer)
JP (Dark Signer)-8000 LP/Roget-8000 LP
JP (Dark Signer): Not bad. But not good enough. First I activate a spell: Twin Twisters! By discarding a card from my hand, I can destroy both of your face downs!
Roget: No!
JP (Dark Signer): Trap card, open: Red Eyes Spirit. I can target one Red Eyes Monster in my Graveyard and summon it to the field! I choose Red Eyes Black Dragon!
Red Eyes Black Dragon: Level 7- 2400 ATK/ 2000 DEF
JP (Dark Signer): Now I summon Red Eyes Retro Dragon from my hand!
Red Eyes Retro Dragon: Level 4- 1700 ATK/ 1600 DEF
JP (Dark Signer): Battle. Red Eyes Retro Dragon, attack his face down monster!
Roget: Oh dear.
JP (Dark Signer): Now both Red Eyes, use your 2400 ATK and 3200 ATK to attack him directly! Double Inferno Fire Blast!
Roget: Ahh!
Roget-8000 LP - - - 2400 LP
JP (Dark Signer): You better do something your next turn or I'll finish you my next turn. Turn end.
Turn 4-Roget
JP (Dark Signer)-8000 LP/Roget-2400 ATK
Roget: I will not lose to you! My turn. I draw! I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.
Turn 5-JP (Dark Signer)
JP (Dark Signer)-8000 LP/Roget-2400 LP
JP (Dark Signer): It's been fun, Roget, but I'm afraid this is where it ends. My turn. Draw. I place one card face down. I tribute both my Red Eyes Retro Dragon and Red Eyes Black Dragon to summon Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon!
Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon: Level 7- 2400 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Roget: What's so special about this monster?
JP (Dark Signer): It's a Gemini monster.
Roget: Gemini Monster?
JP (Dark Signer): I could explain it but you won't be around to find out anyway after I defeat you. You see this card?
[JP (Dark Signer) holds up a blank card]
JP (Dark Signer): The loser has his soul trapped in this card forever. That will be you. Time to end this. Battle. Red Eyes Black Flare Dragon, attack his face down monster!
Roget: When Little Trooper is destroyed, I can special summon 1 Level 2 or lower Warrior Type monster from my deck in face down DEF Mode. Even if you destroy this monster, I'll be around for another turn.
JP (Dark Signer): Hahaha! You really think so? You won't because of my monster's special ability! Red Eyes Black Dragon, attack his face down monster! Inferno Fire Blast!
Roget: Urk. You said you would beat me. How?
JP (Dark Signer): When I end my Battle Phase, I can return a normal Red Eyes monster from my Graveyard to my deck, then you take damage equal to its ATK! I choose to return: Red Eyes Black Dragon! Now you will take 2400 LP of damage and this duel will be finished!
Roget: No! Ahh!
Roget-2400 LP - - - 0 LP
Winner: JP (Dark Signer)
[JP (Dark Signer) picks up the card that contains the soul of Roget. JP (Dark Signer) laughs as he picks it up and rips it in half. He turns to Zuzu who has a look of fear in her eyes]
JP (Dark Signer): Time to leave.
[JP (Dark Signer) leads Zuzu away]
