We are made off different elements
Though we have skins and bones
Our eyes are still of different colours
Though we have hairs and organs
Our DNAs are not matched
Though we came from Adam and Eve
Our personalities are vastly different
But despite of all those differences
Despite of being born of different essences
Why though, why?
When I look at you,
I saw myself staring back at me?
How could it be,
That we are so different,
Yet you're so familiar to me,
That your presence alone
Felt like home
People say that you need to be similar
That a common ground is necessity
To be made for one another
But I would say,
"Screw that"
Our destiny are paved by us
Despite of the prophecies
That are written in the stars for us
We made our own choices
And I choose
Y O U.
