9. Girls Night

After I woke up I went on my phone and saw that Jungkooks request to follow me was still there. I accepted it only because I have no posts and I only post normal 21 year old shit on my story.

I checked the rest of everyone's posts and I saw Jungkook posted of him and IU. In all honesty if I want to be with him I have to trust him more, so that's exactly what I do.

I like and comment on his post, he looks freaking adorable. I can't help but smile while looking at the picture.

I click on IU's account and see her story. Her story was updated 34 minutes ago and jungkooks was updated 4 hours ago.

What the fuck? Are they Hawaii or some shit? Jungkook has a completely different hair colour too. Did he dye his hair in America? Did they both dye their hair? IU's hair is a lighter colour than jungkooks photo. Gosh I thought they were working. Jungkook texts me as soon as I'm about to shower, but I don't mind.

I gush over his kiss emoji and get ready for work. Today I have to see this house in a dodgy area and I'm actually kind of scared. But it's fine, I'll just bring some pepper spray.

"Okay let's go" I say to IU and we start walking to this big restaurant called Highlands Grill. I'm so hungry, I haven't eaten since we landed and I think my stomach is eating itself.

"I'm so hungry" I say as I snatch a menu from the table.

"Did you not eat after we landed?" IU asked and I shook my head. She rolled her eyes and flicked my finger.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"You know how stupid you are?" She said and called a waiter over. IU orders a small salad and chicken fingers. I order this massive steak.

"What's been happening with Lisa? And your parents?" She asks and I'm surprised that she didn't ask sooner, knowing how nosy she is.

"My parents are fine" I lie about my mother because I don't want to make her pity me. "I have been staying at Lisa's for the past 2-3 months and I met this girl" I smile and look down, playing with my fingers.

"Oo" she teases. "Who? Do I know her?" She gets excited and I smile from thinking of Y/n.

"No, you don't. She's Lisa's friend" I say and IU looks at me weird. "Her name is Y/n and Lisa set us up"

"What? Really?" But before I can answer the waiter comes out with our meals, I look at my fat juicy steak and lick my lips.

"I'm so hungry" I say agin before digging my fork and knife into the delicious meat.

"Tell me about this Y/n" She says and takes on of her chicken fingers.

"She's beautiful, she's very stubborn, has this thing about her that I can't put my finger on, she acts bipolar even though I know she isn't. She's had a past relationship that didn't go well" I say and chew the steak. "I try not to talk about her ex even though I want to know more about him."

"Do you know his name?" IU asks and I nod. "Then Facebook search him you idiot" she rolls her eyes and I suddenly feel nosy. Even though Y/n went through my Instagram page.. She didn't go through my ex's. So I shouldn't go through hers, maybe.

I got home from work and looked like a fucking wreck. That was definitely a dodgy area and I highly doubt someone's going to buy that house. It's a 2 by 1 and there's no garage or backyard. I had to negotiate the price with those people, it was so annoying.

I called Lisa and she picked up within the third ring "Lisa" I said.

"Yes" She said mocking my tone

"I need a drink"

"I'll be at yours in 5" she said and hung up.

I smirked and got changed into the same outfit I wore when I first met Jungkook, I put some makeup and didn't do my hair.

I wasn't looking for another guy, I'm not like that. I just needed a drink from the stressful, shitty day I had. Lisa walks in and interrupts my thoughts.

"You didn't lock the door bietch" she says and flicks my forehead.

"Ow!" She laughs and I eye her as she walks into the kitchen. "What are you doing?"

"I'm getting food before we go, I'm hungry okay" She says and takes a packet of chips from my pantry.

"We'll Uber tonight?" I ask and she nods before swinging her arm around me.

"I'm gonna find me a man" she says and skips to the front door.

As we take another shot I start to feel tipsy, I don't want to fuck a guy here so I'm watching how drunk I get.

"Don't cheat on my brother" Lisa says as she sees me holding a cocktail. "He doesn't forgive easily, I would know." She says and gives me a weird look before falling into the arms of a guy.

I roll my eyes because she's already drunk. It's not even classified cheating because right now, all we are is friends that know they have feelings for each other-and has been on a few dates. You could say we're dating-friends.

Lisa is kissing up to some hawtie and I'm happy for her, she hasn't settled down since high school and I was starting to get worried.

I feel Lisa tap me, "yes?" I ask and she grabs my phone.

"Take a photo of us?" She asks and I smile. I want Jungkook to see that I'm not a miserable-eating-breathing-pooping-peeing-gross-off-potato, even though that's definitely what I am.

I take out my phone and take a photo on Instagram to post on my story. I put a small text of our location because it's an expensive bar and I want Jungkook to know I have my own money, so he doesn't think what his mother thinks about me. I post the photo and smile down at my phone until I feel a slight tap on my shoulder. I turn around expecting it to be Lisa and when I see who it is my smile drops.
