Twenty-Five

Chaeyoung's POV

"I'm sure, they just left this place recently." Namjoon declared as we search for more footprints. "I guess so... I'm worried for Jennie." Jungkook said that earned a snort from Jisoo. "You should've took care of Jennie in the first place, loser." I heard her mumble and then rolls her eyes.

It's almost 3 days since the two were lost, 3 tiring days for us. We're so exhausted but we can't just stop looking for them. I think all of us knew that they aren't in good terms, maybe except for Jungkook?

To be honest, I really don't like him. I don't know but I have this feeling that he'll hurt Jennie and Lisa in the end. It's like there's a part of me saying that we shouldn't trust him easily even if he's Jennie's lover, we just knew him for almost a week, we don't have any certain evidence that his a trustworthy person.

Me and Jisoo, of course, are in the same boat. Jisoo is also suspicious about him. We often talk about that topic if we're alone. Well, let's just hope that my instincts aren't real, because if ever, I will never forgive him.

"Guys! footprints!" Wendy shouted then pointed at the ground. We gather near her and saw footprints. "Let's follow these." Taehyung said and the group agreed.

"But, what if it's not theirs? I mean, what if there's other people here?" Joy stated and she also has a point. "I think it's Lisa's, I kinda know her size." Jisoo stated that made the group nodded in agreement and so we started following the footprints.

Lisa's POV

I feel very thirsty even if I just drank some water recently. I'm so tired, tired from all the walking and whining of this girl with me. These days, we acted just normal. No awkward moments and that's what I want. There's no room for being awkward because we seriously need to find the others.

"Be sure to leave footprints, okay?" I informed her again. "Yes, mom." She said that made me turn to her. "What?" I furrowed my brows and continued walking. She shooks her head and I saw her smile.

She's mocking me again.

I furrowed my brows at her and then huffed. I turned around to look at where I was walking when---

"Ouch!"

I tripped then fell... hard.

Jennie didn't catch me.

Pfft! Of course she can't catch me, I'm heavier than her, silly.

I groaned and pushed my body upwards with the both of my hands. "You okay?" She asked and roamed her eyes around me. I straightened my posture then sighed. "I'm fine." I shortly replied. "Be careful when you're walking." She said and gave a small smile. I was fighting the urge to smile back at her. We're still not 'friends'.

I huffed, "It was your fault." I crossed my arms. "What? Why? I didn't do anything?" She said more like a question.

"If you just focused yourself at the way and didn't stare at my pretty face then you wouldn't trip." She said smugly and smirked. I rolled my eyes. Seriously? She's still that savage?

"Ugh, as if I really stared at your so-called pretty face. Ugh." I groaned and scrunched my face. She slapped my arm real hard.

I rubbed it then glared at her. "Yah! What was that for!?" I asked. "Just shut up and start walking." She said then walk pass by me, intentionally hitting my shoulder with hers.

I raised my hand in defeat then sighed.

Jisoo's POV

"WHERE THE HECK ARE THEY!?" Joy shouted and followed by a groan. We've been following the footprints, until there's nothing left. I feel like they stopped here and they aren't far from us.

I nudged Chaeyoung. "Hey, I think they just stopped here. Let's find them by ourselves." I whispered. I don't think that all of us can find the two if there are other's who's whining, groaning and all. I want to just find them by myself or with Chaeng, maybe we'll find them fast if there's only the two of us.

"What? What if we'll get lost too?" She whispered back. "I don't think we can find then if we have those." I pointed at the girls who's busy complaining. She nodded her head then smiled at me.

We sneaked out and when we are not far away from them, but not too close, just enough, we continued to search for the two ex-lovers.

We checked the possible areas that they can hide. "Hey, Chu." Rosé whispered. "Hmm?" I hummed in response and still roaming my eyes around the surroundings. "You heard that?" I looked at her then furrowed my brows. "Hear what?" I asked. She gestured my hand to come closer and so I did. We hid behind a big tree and we heard shuffling sound.

"I'm so tired Lisa, I don't feel like walking."

I widened my eyes and was about to shout when Chaeyoung covered my mouth. "Don't, let's not ruin their moment." Chaeyoung released her hand and smirked, I nodded at her.

"Oh come on, we just rested a while ago."

"But that wasn't enough."

"Stop your complains, I'm sick of it."

"Fine! Leave me her alone then you go find them by yourself, don't bother me, I'll find them too but I'm not going with you."

"Are you nuts? I'm not leaving you here you jerk."

"Don't call me jerk, we're not close, stupid."

"Woah, don't call me stupid because in the first place you broke my heart."

The two of us widened our eyes and looked at each other then blinked many times. "Didn't know Lisa's also savage." Chaeyoung whispers. "Yeah, me too." I agreed. There was a defeaning silence after Lisa's words. We can't hold back our excitement to see the two and we need to break the awkward silence so we showed up.

"YOW!"

"LISA!"

The both of us screamed and ran towards the startled girls. "Hey!" Lisa ran to me and spread her arms for a hug. I aproached her and engulfed her in a tight warm hug. We pulled away and I approached Jennie and hugged her too, Chaeyoung did the same to Lisa. "Gosh, you guys!" Lisa was still shock to see us but was happy at the same time. "Yah you dork, how did you get lost?" I asked and patted her head. "I don't know, I just didn't see you guys when I lift my head." Lisa said and pouted. "Are you two fine?" Chaeyoung asked. "We're fine." They both said in unison.

We walked back where we left the group and thank God, they are still there.

"Guys!" Lisa yelled and the group's gaze was on us. Their mouths were hung open. No one even dared to speak but not until

"Jennie! Oh my God, you're safe!"

The antagonist of this love story rushed to the girl and hugged her tight. I rolled my eyes. Our attention was diverted to them.

Jungkook was being the good boyfriend.

Pfft, he's far from that. I looked at Lisa and held her hand, giving a it a light squeeze.

"Yah! You dorks!" The group then walked towards us and bombarded Lisa with so many questions.

"Yah, calm down you guys. Lisa is exhausted, can't you see? Let her rest first." Chaeyoung said and I sighed.

We all came back to our camp safe and sound. Lisa was really tired, but she somehow managed to chitchat with us, she missed us.

Jennie and Jungkook were being lovely to each other. They seem not to notice our presence and their busy with their own world.

At least we already found them, that's what matters. Because if we haven't found them yet, I'll probably get killed if Dad will know about this stupid shit.
