THE RAID
"Josie?"
The twin stirred in her sleep, attempting to push away Lizzie, but failed.
"Josie! Get up! Someone's here!"
"What?!" She yelled, causing Lizzie to shush her. "I woke up and I sensed someone on our trail," Lizzie whispered and Josies' eyes widened.
"We were followed."

Hope sat in her new room in the bunker, re-thinking the words her mother had told her before she had left.
"I promise you that I'll see you again."
"I promise you that I'll-"
"Hope?" Sams' voice took her out of her daydream, and she straightened herself before giving a fake smile.
"Yeah?"
"You know, my dad used to leave Dean and I all the time when he went hunting. It scared us, especially me, but even though he came home bloody and beaten, he always came back. Your parents have been through so much, and I just know that they'll come back to you," She let a small, genuine smile slip in place of the fake one.
"Thanks, Sam. I know I shouldn't worry, it's just that. . .it seems so different from before, you know? I just feel. . .like there's something wrong," She expressed, scared for the life of her mother, her father - her entire family! Yes, Cami, Rebekah, Keelin, Freya and Marcel all came to the bunker, but the rest stayed behind to fight. Nothing about it was right to her.
As if on cue, his phone started to ring and he hesitated when seeing as the caller ID said "Unknown".
"Hello?"
"This is Sam Winchester?"
That's Uncle Kols' voice! Hope thought.
"I'm Kol Mikaelson, one of Hopes' uncles-" Sam turned to Hope, who nodded in confirmation.
"-and am outside your bunker with my wife. Can you let us in?" Within seconds, Hope was at the bunker door and was greeted by Kol and Davina.
"We came as soon as Dean called us," Davina hugged her niece.
"Why didn't you go after them?" Hope asked.
"Because you know how your father is, and I needed to make sure you were safe. After everything that's happened, we shouldn't be running-"
"Kol," Davina said in a warning tone.
"You know I'm right, Davina. We were once the most feared family on this planet, and now they think they can drive us out of our home? I'll rip all their throats out where they stand," Kol felt very strongly about the situation, but inside, knew that it was better than putting Hope at risk.
"As much as I like the sound of that plan," Dean spoke up, coming up the stairs.
"It's better until we hear from them," Nodding in agreement, Dean took them to a room that they'd be staying in and they thanked him.
"You're a witch, right?" Dean questioned Davina.
"Yes."
"A friend of ours is coming by with her Grimoire, ya' know, put some spells around the bunker. We'll need all the help we can get."
"Of course," Davina smiled.
_______________
"Jack? Why are you up?" Castiel asked, seeing him in the kitchen with a frustrated look upon his features.
"I couldn't sleep."
"Why?" He questioned, sitting next to him.
"You'll think it's dumb."
"Jack, don't put yourself down like that. You're still human and sometimes-"
"It's not about my powers, or dad, or my mom, it's. . .At the house, Hope and I slept in the same room and. . .I felt safe," Although Castiel shouldn't have been surprised about this, considering their God-forged bond, he still was.
"Well, it makes sense. You still have trouble controlling your powers, and since Hope has mastered all three components of herself, it's human nature to feel safe around her."
That's what Jack tended to forget. That he was still human - half of his blood, half of him was still human, all thanks to his mother, but that didn't change the fact that he was still a ticking time bomb to the Angels, whom still didn't know if he would truly live out his birthright of bringing paradise to Earth.
"But, it's about Hayley as well, isn't it?"
"How can it not be? We don't even know if she's still alive. I should have stayed behind, they wanted me anyways!" Jack burst out.
"Those people would have killed you, or atleast tried to find a way to do so, Jack. And Elijah and Niklaus stayed behind to help too, she wasn't alon-"
"Jack?" Hope entered the kitchen, rubbing her eyes.
"If we're both being honest, then. . .I can't sleep either. We can share my bed if you want?" Hope offered, and Jack felt his heart start to pick up it's pace and she giggled at the sound of his nervousness around her.
"S-Sure."

Jack felt awkward in the bed. He's never slept in the same bed as a girl before, and his heart is beating a million miles an hour. But what he didn't know what Hopes' heart was beating faster. Yes, she's a bold girl, but she doesn't know how she feels about Jack just yet. But still. . .
"Jack, do you know what cuddling is?"
She suddenly asked, causing Jack to look at her and find her adoring eyes in the darkness.
"No, but it sounds nice."
She gently smiled.
"Lay down, flat on your back," He did as she asked, going from laying on his side to his back.
"And put one arm out," She explained as she inched closer to him, and lay her head on his chest. She grabbed his arm and placed his hand gently on her waist.
Both hearts weren't beating wildly, but calmly. As Jack relaxed, so did Hope and she closed her eyes. She craved sleep, but had raging thoughts of her mother coursing through her mind.
"Jack? Can you make me a promise?"
He didn't hesitate. "Of course."
"Promise me that you'll never leave. That you'll always be with me when I need you." Hope knew that this was a drastic promise, but she needed it. With the possibility of her mom being tortured or killed, she felt the need to grasp onto the tiniest bit of something, even if it wasn't real.
"I was made for you, Hope Mikealson. I was bonded to you so I can love you, even if we don't know what to feel yet. I'm staying, Hope. And I'm not ever going to leave you."
And with a single tear trailing down her cheek, she smiled.
"Thank you. . ."
