ch. 10 the hospital wing

Beat...... Beat..... Beat......

Was all they heard for hours and hours. There was still no sign of any pulse when they checked. Rin came rushing in the room to see him unconscious in the hospital bed. She had Kou in her arms and rocked him gently as she watched them put a breathing device on.

"Come on Obito-kun....." Rin mumbled under her breath as she rocked Kou. Tears fell down her cheeks as she watched them attach him to all these machines. The doctor then stands up and turns to her.

"You must be the wife of Obito Uchiha.." The doctor said holding up his clipboard.

"Yes I am." Rin said wiping few of her tears off her face.

"We got some bad news and some good news. Which one do you want to hear first?" The doctor asked

"The bad news please." Rin said cuddling her little baby in her arms.

"Well, as we inspected Obito got injured really bad by a nuclear explosion, making his breathing a bit rigid. When we found him, we was out cold coughing, unable to breathe." The doctor said making her gasp.

"And the good news?" Rin said anxiously not wanting to hear it by the fear of it turning bad instead of good.

"He is alive. He was lucky we got there the right time. He will be back in a estimated 2 more days and will be able to come home on a month. But we are afraid the hokage cancelled the mission and he is no longer a shinobi. He'll just be a regular person." The doctor said. Hearing those words brought relief in her eyes. She let out a sigh due to her relief.

"What are you going to do about his chakra then?" Rin asked him.

"We going to have a chakra removal procedure to get rid of the flowing chakra. Before we do that we must make sure he is fully unconscious so that the chakra would stop flowing so it will be easier." The doctor said

"And were would it be going?" Rin asked bouncing Kou, who was crying.

"We would donate it to people who needs it." The doctor said patting her back and walking out of the room as if he was done with the conversation. Rin looked at him as he left and walked towards Obito. She cried once more with tears filled eyes and kissed him.

"I love you Obito.... So much.." Rin sobbed as she kissed his lips. She gave the sleeping baby to him to cuddle and watched them sleep together.

After the day was done, and the sun was setting, Rin set up the mini bed that was right next to him and made the bed. She then grabs Kou and lays down with him.
