Chapter Eleven

Audrey's Pov.

Ow, why does my head hurt so much? I started to sit up and realized I was in my bed in my tent. I don't remember going to my tent last night. Actually I don't remember anything after Zachary handing me my drink.

I got up and walked out of my tent and sat down next to Zachary who was sitting with Avice and Henry. Avice slapped Henry, probably about calling her "bird" again, and then they all turned to me.

"What?" I asked obfuscated.

"Nothing," Avice assured. "Here." She said handing me a plate with food on it. I hurriedly started eating when again everyone started to stare again. I looked up and saw that they were staring at something behind me I looked behind me to see Nickolous joining us.

He smiled and then his gaze met mine and his smile quivered like he wasn't sure about something. I turned around and everyone was staring at me again. "Why is everyone staring at me again?" They all averted their gazes as Nickolous sat down next to me.

Nickolous glared at Zachary, "You told them," He accused. "How could you?"

"Told them what?" I asked. Nickolous ignored me kept staring at Zachary.

"I didn't mean too! It just kind of slipped out! I am so sorry." Zachary defended. Nickolous gave him a glare that said 'I'm not the one you should be apologizing too' which only made me even more confused.

"Nickolous, what happened?" I asked starting to get fusterated and worried. He was hiding something from me and I didn't like it when he hid something from me.

"Nothing." He dismissed eatign his food.

"Don't 'nothing' me! I know something happened and for some reason I have a feeling it invovled me and you. So you better tell me or I will never ever talk to you again and I will laugh as you watch me and the Gold Warrior have a happy life together." I demanded. He looked pained and then looked at Zachary for helping. "Leave my cousin otu of this. This is between you and me." I glared at him watching as he was having some sort of internal struggle.

"Come on." he said and pushed up from the ground and pulled me towards his tent. When we got in there I saw his sword on his floor. I got an image at him point it at me and backing away.

"Nick?"

"Yes, Audrey?"

"Why did you point your sword at me last night?" I looked at him and saw him take a deep breath. "Were you trying to kill me?"

He started laughing! Laughing! I asked if he was trying to kill me and he started laughing. He saw the angry look on my face and stopped laughing. "Sorry, but no. I was not trying to kill you. I was trying to get you to stop kissing me."

"What?" I asked now extremely confused.

"Audrey, sit down. This is going to be a lot to take."

"I'm going to kill him!" I screamed and ran out of the tent. I approached my target and watched as Henry pointed to me and then Zachary looked up. He looked terrified. He should! How could he do that to me? I am his family! "Zachary your dead!" I drew my sword from my bracelet and prepared to swing at him.

Someone grabbed my elbow and stopped me from killing him. "Audrey stop," I turned to see Nickolous pleading with his eyes for me to calm down. I shook my arm from his grasp and turned back to Zachary.

"I won't be so merciful next time." i warned pointing a finger at him. I was still pissed so when I heard Henry's comment, "So there will be a next time?" I reacted out of anger. I turned my sword into a throwing knife and aimed it at Henry's heart. It hit the tree behind him by mere inches and then I stormed off to my tent with Nickolous following me.

"I'm sorry, this is why I didn't want to tell you because I knew you would react like this." He apologized.

I looked at him and instantly calmed down. He looked so cute when he was sorry and I smiled. "You have nothing to apologize for. You were looking out for me. And I thank you for that. You also did what other men probably wouldn't have done. I love you even more for that." I kissed his lips. "And yes I will marry you."

AW!!!! Okay I know its short but I had to finish this book for school so I couldn't write and oh come on! You know you love the ending!
