__The Beginning

I was born on a cold day, very unusual for the middle of April. My mother and father split up not to long after that. I stayed with my father because my mother went back to the Convent, and that is no place for a little kid according to my mother. So, I grew up in the pack. My father was the Alpha of the silver moon pack. Named so after the two creators of the pack. His name was Michael Silver, my mom's name was Katherine Marshall. My name is Davina Katherine Silver, future alpha of the pack. Sad, I know. My dad remarried after three years apart from my mom. He had a son and named him Michael Silver. He was four years younger than me. We got along very good; we did everything together, even tortured the pack members. I named him my future beta, when he turned sixteen. I was twenty at that time.

One day I was walking through the city about a mile or so from our lands, suddenly there was a thundering rumbling through the clouds. It wasnt from rain but an attack and someone had been hit into the bell tower. It was raining pieces of the building, people screaming and running in every direction. Pushing everyone in different directions but there were still people caught. I fell back, pushed by a woman who was carrying her child running for safety but they didnt make. We all got caught under the rubble. They took me to the hospital but nothing could have been done. I slowly slipped away from life. I felt my live slip away, everything felt like slow motion. Then out of nowhere a face came into view. He had dark hair and black eyes. He was talking but I could not hear what he was saying. Then I was gone. Floating in oblivion, blackness surrounded me, my limbs were tingling. I tried to move but I couldn't. My eyes searched through the oblivion but couldn't see anything. My breathing hitched, suddenly I was falling. My stomach dropped as if I was on a rollercoaster. I jolted up and saw that I was in a room, it was big. The walls were a light brown, the bed I was on was covered in black covers. The room had one window on the east wall, a door Infront of me and to my right was a door slightly ajar and I could see it was a bathroom.

I threw my legs to the side of the bed, they felt dead but they worked, I walked to the window and drew back the heavy dark courtens, the sun flashed through. He most unbearable pain went through my body as the sun hit my skin, I screamed and recoiled jumping back into the shadows. My skin covered in blisters. Slowly everything turned back to its original shape, but this time my skin looked flawless, like that of a porcelain doll. I looked at my hand, then to the sun and slowly pushed it to the sunlight. It stinged, my skin sizzled and smoke came from it. I pulled it back and studied it. Strange I thought...

The door flew open and a man came through. He had black hair, his eyes dark, with hints of red splashed in them. He walked with confidence, like he owned the place, he wore a suit, dark blue with a white shirt, no tie. He looked at me as I sat in front of the sunlight. He smiled, shook his head and went to close the drapes. He stepped into the sunlight and pulled them closed.

"H...h...h... o.... d..." My voice was gone. I couldn't speak. He crouched down looked at me, suddenly I was lifted up and placed back on the bed, at a very inhuman speed.

" Good morning. My name is Dimitri. You'll have some problem with your speech as you've noticed, your legs and arms might also not work. But I guess there is no problem with that because you walked to the window. " He smiled the whole time he was talking. He had two elongated vangs that stuck out every time he smiled. He had a very nice and sincere smile to him.

" Don't worry we don't want to hurt you; we want to help. Might not seem that way now but we do. I'll go get you something to eat now?" He stood at the foot of the bed, I nodded he turned and headed out the door. I heard the unsatisfying click of a lock and his footsteps disappearing. I sighed and laid back down on the bed. It was soft, like a cloud. I rolled over to the side and saw the door of the bathroom. I stood up, shaking again but managed. The bathroom was brightly lit, but not by sunlight, but by the light of a bright beam. The bathroom was big, a bath was on the left side of the room, a small sink was placed beside it. A floor to ceiling mirror was on the other side of the room and so was a shower. As I stood there admiring the room, the door was opened and back came Dimitri. He had a plate in his hands with some sort of goblet thingy on it, you know those things the Vikings used to drink out of? Yea that.

I turned and faced him. He looked stunned.

" So, you can walk. Very impressive for a new born. Normally it takes about two to three days. You're a strong one. I knew you were going to be a fighter the first time I saw you. "

He placed the plate down on a little table next to the bed. I walked to the bed and sat down as he did the same.

" You're probably still wondering what is going on?"

I nodded.

" First take the glass and drink, but slowly, it might feel weird at first..." He must have seen the look I gave him because he gestured to it and continued "... but you'll get used to it. So go ahead. "

I looked at it. Inside was a dark liquid. The goblet was heavy as I picked it up and brought it to my lips. I slowly tilted it up and the liquid swelled into my mouth. It had a metallic taste to it, I wanted to stop but I couldn't. Everything inside of me willed me to keep drinking, even though I wanted to stop. As soon as the goblet was finished, I tossed it to the side of the bed, it clanked as it hit the floor and a few droplets splattered onto the floor. Dimitri looked at me as if I had just done him a huge favor.

" Good now that you've had your dinner, you can go freshen up Eli's expecting you." With that he vanished.

I went back to the bathroom and took a short shower. Then why to the room looking for a closet. Behind a double door was the closet, and it was fitted with every type of clothing you could think of. I ran my hand over each peace. Then decided on a simple blue dress with white sandals.

I opened the door and to my amazement it wasn't locked. A maid stood there. When I came out and straightened up and spoke. " Good evening my lady. This way to the lord's dining Hall. " I nodded and followed her. She had short brown hair. " You look pretty lady..." She turned and looked at me. I just shook my head still not finding my voice.

" Never mind. You'll find your voice soon enough don't worry. We all had a thing we lost. I lost my sight for a few days but it came back to me so... Anyway, here we are." I didn't even notice that we came to a stop. The hall was huge, decorated like a medieval castle but more stylish. A mad at at the head, to his right was Dimitri, and to his left was a place set. Dimitri looked up and smiled. He gestured to the place set across from him. I walked to it, and stood Infront of it, I had learned that during without permission is a highly disrespectful action. The man looked up and have me a smile.

" Good evening. Glad you came down, Dimitri said you might not. My name is Elijah Meliorn Luthor, but people can me Eli. The surname is derived from my father's side of the family. Dimitri here is my son, next in line to the throne. Ooo gosh where are my manners, please sit down." I sat down cautiously. Eli went on speaking but I didn't hear much, I was to focused on the mam sitting in front of me. He kept stealing glances at me. That's how most of the night went. I only found out later it was day but was so dark because of the drapes.

That night I had a dream, the kind that seems real, feels real, bit isn't. This dream changed everything for me, because it was in fact not a dream but a memory...
