I wake up in a terrible state. Sweat drips down my forehead and tears sting my eyes.

"It happened again." I whisper to myself, wiping away the beads of sweat on my forehead.

I grab my pack of yellow sticky notes and my balled pen from my bed side table and continue to write the dream down.

This happens every once in a while. Different versions of me living in different parallel universe's dies, and I'm left to deal with the endings.

I peel the yellow sticky note off the pack and open my bedside drawer. And yet again I'm met with the galaxy designed box. I place the dusty box in my lap, popping open the lid.

89 yellow sticky notes fill the little box of sad endings.....and now for the 90th.

Every time I open this box, I get this deep wave of sadness. I mean, it's understandable right? Seeing versions of yourself die is not easy to deal with. Because one day it could and will be this version of myself that decides to leave this world.

So that's why I try and stay somewhat positive and try to live each day to the fullest. .. while I have time left that is.

Placing the lid back on the box, i shove it into its usual dark place at the back of the drawer.

Peeling the duvet off my sweat drenched body, i get out of bed.

Slowly opening my bedroom door, I'm instantly hit with the smell of pancakes.

"Hi, sweetie- another bad dream huh?" My mum frowns once she sees the sweat stained pj's I'm wearing.

"Yeah, this one lasted forever. I thought I was never going to wake up." I slump my head down, feeling the sadness rises up into my stomach again.

"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I could do. The pancakes will be done in 5 minutes, how about you go for a quick shower? And if you feel up to it, we can talk about it before you go to college?" She pushes a fallen strand of hair out of my face, lifting my chin up with her slender finger.

"I love you mum." Is all I can say before I wrap my arms around her slim waist.

"I love you too." She squeezes me and places a kiss on top of my forehead.

....

"Gosh I smell don't I?" I scrunch my nose up after getting a wiff.

"Really bad." She giggles.

"Ya! Don't be mean!" I poke her shoulder, which only sends her to giggle.

"I'm just agreeing with you, but seriously go wash up because my nose is hurting." She pinches her nose, but still wears her cheeky smile.

"Okay fineeeeee, make sure you make the pancakes extra yummy! I'm starving!" I call over my shoulder as I make my way to my bathroom.

Moments like this i cherish. Because you never know when its going to be your last.

-

After having a long hot shower and breakfast I get ready for college. Tying my shoe laces i sling my back pack over my shoulder and I open the front door.

"I love you mum! I'll call you at lunch!" I shout into the empty hall way, waiting for her reply.

"Okay honey I'll see you later! I love you too, have a good day!" She shouts from the kitchen.

I close the door and make my way towards college, but not before picking up an iced coffee from the little cafe across the street.

I push the wooden door open and place my order. While I wait for my drink, I can't help but think about the dream.

The boys name was Jimin.
He had blonde hair.
And had hazel brown eyes.

I wonder where he was in this world, or even if he existed at all.

"ICED COFFEE!" The barista calls out pulling me out of my thoughts.

I grab my drink and say a quick 'thank you' before returning my journey to college.
