A/N: I find these somewhat amusing and I enjoy writing them, what can I say >.> Anyway, 200k reads on this book wooo! I would usually do some intermission or something but considering this book is pretty much done except for extra chapters for side stories or little things I will do here and there, I'm just going to give my usual thanks and continue doing my thing! Enjoy!
"Damn, so boring today!"
Hiromichi yelled out slamming his drink against the table.
Thief who had been busy fending off Sébastien's advancements turned her attention at the fuming giant in front of her.
"Ku, what's got you worked up today Hiro?"
"Nothing, I'm just pissed we didn't end up going and doing that quest today. I was itching to throw down with some monsters, tch."
Himari happily ate, ignoring Hiromichi's tantrum. She had ordered some steak with vegetables and was enjoying it too much to have Hiromichi's mood bring her down.
"Monsieur needs to learn how to relax. Besides if you leave to do your business, poor little I will have no beauties to admire and play with." Sebastien said pulling on Thief's arm gently.
Thief in return pulled back and sighed paying little attention to Sebastien's antics.
"A couple of drinks will make you feel better, they always do with me, ku ku!"
"Speaking of which, I'm tired of saving your ass from this guy! If you get drunk one more time and start flirting back, I'm not going to stop it this time!"
"F-flirting?! M-me?!
"Ohoho, is today my chance then?"
The bar was buzzing with people today, more so than usual. After more than a month since the last attack on the city, things were beginning to settle down. Buildings and shops were being rebuilt and even the Colosseum would be finished in the next few weeks.
Hiromichi was really looking forward to this. Fighting it out with other contestants to increase his battle experience was an opportunity he didn't want to pass.
Hours passed by, they drank and eventually the mood lightened up again. Himari, knowing the usual drill, decided to excuse herself and leave towards her sleeping quarters. Last time she stuck around for a drunk fest, she had been nearly dragged to jail herself. This time she would rather avoid such a hassle.
Thief, Hiromichi, and Sebastien remained behind, the drinks finally kicking in.
Thief let out a chilling giggle as her head fell onto Sebastien shoulder.
"Mmmm I'm soooooo tired, why don't we *hic* leave for a more private location, hahaha!"
"Tch, Sebastien is usually the one who says that, shit I'm really not going to help her this time." Hiromichi mumbled into his drink.
He was starting to feel the effects of the alcohol but he was coherent enough to know that this was still a bad idea.
"Ohoho! Waitress, our tab please, and make it quick!"
"Just let it happen...she won't learn any other damn way..."
The door swung open unexpectedly as two figures made it through.
The first was their one and only, egotistical, better than anyone else, friend Sayu. Her gaze hover over the room eventually locking itself on Sebastien and Thief.
"Hands off pig! I figured it was the time you would be harassing her. You, oaf! Why haven't you stopped them yet?"
Sayu was well aware of what would be happening at this point. Their schedule had remained mostly the same for the past weeks so around this time Thief was drunk to the point where she would be taking in Sebastien's offers. Usually Hiromichi would be trying to keep them off each other until Sayu arrived but he wasn't in the mood to care much.
"Tch, not my job..."
Hiromichi swayed back and forth, barely keeping himself up.
He thought it was a bit sweet seeing Sayu around this time. Usually she was cold and calculative, keeping her persona of being better than them. Around this time though her act would drop and a visible care for Thief's safety would become apparent. These were rare moments that would happen where her barrier would drop and she would seem much more human.Hiromichi admitted, he thought it was these times where he felt his heart skip a bit for Sayu.
The second figure though, moved effortlessly through the room towards their table. Hiromichi had not noticed it this person at first because he just assumed it would be Kami since Sayu and him tended to stick close most of the time. Now that he took a closer look, he still wasn't sure it wasn't Kami.
It was a girl, her features where similar to those of Kami. She had blue neon glowing eyes and long crimson-brown hair that flowed through the air as she moved. Her attire was similar almost an exact color scheme of what Kami's was. The style was the only thing that had changed. It was a blouse-like shirt and a navy-blue skirt that barely reached half way through her knees.
The same sneakers that Kami would wear moved through the room as the eyes of the now noticing bar attendants gazed over her.
In truth, despite their similarities she was beautiful in her own way. By that, Hiromichi meant, she had the full package, the nice breasts, the nice hourglass figure and the more than adequate ass.
He shook his head, realizing the drinks were making him a lot more vulgar than he wanted to be.
The girl sat next to Hiromichi and let out a sigh.
"Tiring day, drink here please!"
Her voice was like honey and milk. It was feminine to the extreme sending a shiver down Hiromichi's spine.
Sebastien, being the sophisticated man of taste suddenly only had eyes for the new girl who had entered the room.
"S-so who's your friend Sayu..."
Hiromichi was scared of the answer, he didn't want to think about it but it itched at the back of his mind.
Sayu pushed Sebastien off his chair taking the place where he was sitting next to Thief.
"Can you really not tell? I expected a bit more despite your level of intellect."
Again, shivers ran down Hiromichi's spine as he turned and faced the girl whose beaming smile was making his heart rate increase. Her stare was making the inside of his chest feel like it was bursting as she waved at him.
"No..."
"What's wrong Hiromichi?"she asked with the tone of curiosity and dumbfound expression he had grown to see.
"Noo..."
In her half-drunk state Thief had barely made out the conversation when her eyes met with the girl sitting next to Hiromichi.
"...who's the babe, ku..."
Hiromichi burrowed his head underneath his arms as his shoulder dug deep into the table top.
"Noooo...."
"One drink for me as well please." Sayu added ignoring Hiromichi's mental breakdown.
Sebastien stood up and stared at the girl and simply smirked.
"Monsieur, I do not mind this change, perhaps now would be an interest-"
"NOOOOO...."
The mere mood of her presence made the others in the bar who had been observing her nearly have a heart attack. It was an immeasurable feeling of confusion and pleasure that many of them had not thought possible.
The female Kami clapped her hands together and shook herself back and forth with a pleasant tone to her voice.
"Drinks are on me today guys!"
