Chapter 16: Today is the Day

Percy P.O.V

        ~~~~~~~4 Days Later~~~~~~

Me and Superboy were sitting in the Wayne Manor Garden while I thought him about society when I came up with a brilliant idea.

"I want to name you," I tell the Kryptonian.

"You want to name me? Really?"

"Yeah," I say smiling. "You're more than just a clone you deserve a life of your own. Let me help you."

"I'd like that."

"Great," I say before tapping my fingers in a thinking motion. "You look like a Connor. I'll name you Connor."

"Connor." He repeats to himself. "I like it."

"I'm glad you like it," I say pulling a box from under the bench we were sitting on and hand it to him. "I know you really like the Superman symbol and sense you're trying to be your own person I made you this."

"What is it?" Connor asked looking at the wrapping paper and bow.

"It's a present you have to open it silly."

He pulled the wrapping paper off the box and slowly took the top off of said box to reveal a black and red Superman well now Superboy shirt.

"Do you like it?" Instead of answering much to my surprise he pulled me into a really tight hug.

"This is the nicest thing somebodies ever done for me.......thank you."

"There's no need to thank me," I tell him. "Your one of my boys now so there's no need to feel odd here."

"How do you-"

"Because at some point in time and sometimes now I feel like the odd ball out. During World War II my dad Poseidon and my two uncles Zeus and Hades made a pact so they would never have demigod children and as you can see it didn't work because there are still kids of Hades Zeus and me the only demigod daughter of Poseidon. People looked at me weirdly because I wasn't suppose to exist either. But eventually, things got better I'm the most liked demigod." I say with a wink.

"So they'll except me?....he'll except me?" Connor asked

"Yeah, I'll make sure of it." I say smiling. "I'll kick his ass to krypton and back before I let him ignore you."

"Mom!" Dick says running up to us as Connor puts on his new shirt. "Bruce says he's ready to make it up to us.....I mean you."

"Okay where is he?" I ask looking around for him.

"He told us to meet him at the old Justice Leauge Headquarters."

"Okay what about Terry?" I ask Dick.

"Bruce already asked Alfred to watch him."

"Okay." I say before turning to Connor. "Okay Connor you need to grab my hand and remain calm. Just like you, I have powers I'm going to turn our bodies into a mist and transport us to the Headquarters."

Taking both boys hand I disappear and reappear inside of the Headquarters where Aqualad, Aquaman, Flash, Kid Flash, Batman, Black Canary, Red Tornado and Martin Manhunter where waiting for us.

"This better be good or I swear to all the gods you'll be sleeping on the couch for a month." I warn Bruce.

"It will be I promise." Bruce says before turning to the boys. "This cave was the original secret sanctuary Of the Justice League. We're calling it into service again. Since you 4 are determined to stay together and fight The good fight, you'll do it on League terms. Red Tornado volunteered to live here and be Your supervisor. Black canary's in charge of training. I will deploy you on missions."

"Real missions?" Dick ask.

"Yes, but covert." Bruce answers.

"The League will still handle the obvious stuff. There's a reason we have these big targets on our chests." Flash says.

But Cadmus proves the bad guys are getting smarter. Batman needs a team that can operate on the sly." Aquaman says smiling at me.

"The 5 of you will be that team." Batman says.

"Cool! Wait. 5?" Kid Flash asks.

"This is the Martian Manhunter's niece Miss Martian." Batman says as Martian Manhunter brings his niece out the shadows.

"Hi." She says waving shyly.

"Liking this gig more every minute." Wally not so quietly whispers to Dick before walking up to her. "Welcome aboard. I'm Kid Flash. That's Robin, Aqualad. It's cool if you forget their names. Oh and that's mom."

"Wally honey let's think with our head.... you no the one with the brain. Not the one in your pants. She might not even be interested in you." I say making all the boys but Connor and Wally snicker.

"Mooom." Wally says turning bright red. "I'm just being giving introductions.

"I didn't know trying to get with M'gann was apart of introductions."

"It's not." Dick says before turning his attention back to M'gann.

"I'm honored to be included." She says smiling at everyone.

"Hey, Co-Superboy. Come meet miss M." Robin says making me smile.

He was trying to make sure Connor felt included.

"I like your t-shirt." She says changing her white and red shirt to black and red.

"See." I whisper to Wally. "She wants to get in his pants.'

"Today is the day." Aqualad repeats trying hard not to laugh.

Connor walks up to me while I was sitting on the couch eating popcorn with Kf.

"Can we talk." He asks.

"Yeah of course." I said leading him to the kitchen sense nobody was there.

"Are you going to kick me out since there are rooms here?" He asks making me kind of sad.

After the Clark thing he's scared of abandonment. I'm going to kick his ass when I get a chance.

"Of course not." I say pulling him in a hug. "But I have an idea."

"What is it?"

"I want you to live here and at the Manor if you stay here you'll be around more people your age and get to learn more. But" I quickly say seeing his sad face. "Your room at the Manor is your room nobody else. If you ever want to come over and bake your favorite cookies or just stay you can. I promise."

"Thank you....mom." He says pulling me into a hug.

"Awww your so welcome Connor." I say hugging him back. "Now go get to know your new peers.....and embarrass Wally and Dick for me!"
