The doorbell rings and since we can't really leave I pulled up cameras from the front porch and we saw about 200 people in the lawn.

They all looked stupid in love.

"What the fuck!" Roy says staring at the screen in front of us.

"Why are you surprised." Billy said rolling his eyes. "Moms like a model way more attractive then any of us would like to admit."

"Shut up." Wally said hitting the back of his head. "We'd rather not think of mom like that."

"I mean he's not wrong your mother is se-" I start before Terry cuts me off.

"Please don't finish whatever you were just about to say."

"How do we make them go." Roy says grabbing his bow. "I can shoot them if you'd like."

"I volunteer as tribute." Terry says making Roy laugh.

"Shooting people will not be necessary." Kuldur says. "All mom has to do is stop singing the siren song and sing her counter siren song."

"What's that?" Jason ask.

"It will break the original spell." I explain.

"But that means we have to get mom to stop singing right?" Billy asks.

"Yeah mom has these special headphones that block out the song but allows you to hear everything else." Kuldur says.

Terry walks over to the cabinets and pulled out 6 pairs of headphones for everyone to wear except for him and Kuldur.

We followed Terry and Kuldur to the indoor pool where Percy was singing in the water and Wally was sitting on the edge.

Percy's eyes were glazed over and her lips were moving letting us know she was still singing.

Wally still looked like a lovesick idiot with glazed over eyes and a huge smile on his face soaking in all her words and puckering his lips like he was ready to go in for a kiss.

"Terry and I will have to sing the counter siren song but don't be alarmed when you hear it." Kuldur says.

They both climb into the pool and start to sing against Percy.

Imagine its Kuldur and Terry so the voices will be deeper.

Once Terry gave us a thumbs up we took off of headphones and looked over at Percy and Wally.

Percy blinked a few times looking around in confusion before her and Wally talked at the same time.

"What happened!?"

"Well me and Kuldur finally got to hear your siren song." Terry says with a huge smile.

"Wally tried to make a move." Billy said earning a smack on the back of his head.

"HE DID WHAT?!"

"I DID WHAT?!"

I could tell Wally was really embarrassed. I mean that was his second mom he was just trying to kiss on.

"You were singing your Siren song and Wally didn't close his ears when told," I explain.

"Siren song........I don't....I don't sing my siren song." Percy says as her eyes widen in fear and confusion.

"Is anyone dead?"

"Um no...." Roy said. "Why would anyone be dead."

Percy froze and we all rushed to her side to make sure if she was okay but she was unresponsive.

Percy P.O.V

"Is anyone dead?"

"Um no...." Roy said. "Why would anyone be dead?"

I froze as I was suddenly in a flashback.

I was 5 on the beach with my mom the water was cold but I didn't mind the temperature of water never bothered me.

Mom sat on a beach towel wearing headphones as I brushed my hair with a fork like Ariel did in the movies.

I saw women faces in the waves and they giggled whenever I waved.

I never paid attention to the fact that there where water ladies in the water even though it was weird this was nothing new to me.

One asked me to come play and I didn't mind so after taking one last look at mom I went into the water.

She told me she loved to sing and I did to so we sang together until she asked me if I knew what a siren song was.

My mom had always told me stories about Greek Mythology so I knew exactly what it was.

The book said the siren song came from the heart it would feel like you've song it plenty of times since it was apart of you.

She told me to sing her a song and don't be too quiet because everyone deserved to hear my sweet voice.

I giggled and began singing my made up song not knowing it wasn't made up at all it was my siren song.

I didn't notice the people trying to get to me even though I was far out. I didn't see the women, men, and children drowning trying to reach me.

"Percy stop singing." Mom yelled without taking her headphones off.

I did as told and went back to the shore not paying any attention to the people or the man in the ocean waving his trident to restore peace.

"We have to get out of here." She said pulling me back to our cabin.

I didn't understand why mom was making us leave.

Later that night we were eating BBQ and Hot Wings and watching the news when there was a breaking news announcement.

"At 3:30 p.m at Monarch Beach people began acting weird and walking towards the water. There seemed to be a person or destination in mind because they couldn't be stopped." The newslady started before I cut her off.

"Look mommy we were there today."

I look back at the screen as she continued talking.

"Seven people died drowning. Three men, two women, and two children. People who survived said they heard angelic singing sounds like they were going after a siren."

A sob escaped mom's lips and the realization hit me like a ton of bricks.

I was the only one singing out there today.

"Promise me you'll never sing the song you sang at the beach unless its an emergency. Promise me!"

"I promise......I'm sorry the water lady said sing it."

Her eyes went wide before pulling me into a hug. Repeatedly whispering my baby.

That was the first time I had murdered somebody."
