Virgil was annoyed that the rain hadn't stopped when he was leaving Zeus' cabin. He was ready for a run in the rain, but Roman looked at him confused when he was ready to go.

"You're... going out on the rain?"

Virgil shrugged "Just a bit of water."

Roman grabbed his umbrella, sighing "No way, Brad Pittiful, I'll give you a ride to your cabin"

Virgil looked at him, grateful, despite being a little scared. Roman was unpredictable, and could do something impulsive. Not that Virgil didn't do anything impulsive. But Virgil's impulsive was more like run-away-when-uncomfortable and Roman's was pout-and-refuse-to-keep-walking.

Deceit gave a little laugh. "How romantic" he said, smirking.

Virgil blushed hardly, and looked around for something to throw at him. As he didn't found anything except an umbrella, what felt like a deadly ideia, he Just turned to the door, hoping the cold air would stop the burning in his face. As he looked around, he saw that Roman was also blushing, and for some reason, that made something in Virgil light up.

Besides Deceit's comment, they walked out into the rain, Roman, a few inches taller than Virgil, carrying the umbrella, humming to something Virgil didn't recognize.

The ride was, well, awkward. Deceit's comment buzzed in Virgil's ear as he walked side by side with Roman, sometimes brushing arms, what made Virgil shiver every time.

Roman looked very comfortable. He hummed to a catchy tune, walking in the same rhythm as the song, staring at the wet fields. The kind of wet hair framed his face, falling a bit on his eyes. In any other person, it would be a ridiculous look. But Roman made it work. Virgil realized with a weird feeling on his stomach that the rain reflected in Roman's hazel eyes made them look like they were made out of gold, melted gold.

Then Virgil realized he was staring, and quickly turned away, the burning sensation on his face making him want to run away.

"What are you humming to?" Virgil asked, after a long silence.

Roman looked at him shocked. Apparently he hadn't realized he was humming.

"One of my faves from Broadway" He said after a while, grinning.

"Of course" Virgil said under his breath, but Roman continued:

"It's Beautiful! From Heathers!" He said, excited. Apparently, he didn't get to talk about his musicals with a lot of people.

Princes started singing, and Virgil couldn't help but stare at him.

It made a lot of sense that Mr. Perfect in Every Single Way was a good singer, but he was more than that. He was great. For a moment, Virgil couldn't think of anything bitter or mean to say, all he could do was stare at Roman, who looked to the raining fields, not realizing Virgil's shock.

"Wow" Virgil whispered, when Roman stopped singing.

Roman smirked, pride filling his eyes "I'm pretty good, huh?"

"Yeah" Virgil muttered, embarrassed he was so thrown of guard by Roman. "Don't get cocky, though" he added, to keep the aesthetic.

Roman smiled, and Virgil, for some unknown reason, felt really good. It wasn't a cocky, I'm-the-best smile. It was a happy, pure one, that made everything seen clearer and brighter. He looks pretty cute when he smiles.

Woah! What are these thoughts? It's nothing, it's nothing, it's nothing, it's just Roman, he doesn't look cute at all.

They reached the cabins session, and as they got closer to the Nike cabin, Virgil slowed down.

Roman realized, and turned to him, surprised "You're not getting rid of me this soon, Panic At The Everywhere. I'm scorning you to your cabin."

Virgil rolled his eyes "You don't have to, Roman. It's like 1 minute running."

"I know" Roman smiled and winked at him "That's what makes me a gentle... a very nice guy" Roman's face got red as he realized he was going to say gentleman, and Virgil snorted.

Besides not feeling like that was necessary, Virgil didn't complain anymore, and they walked to the Hecate's cabin.

Roman stopped in front of the stone arch that was the cabin's door. "So... good night?" He asked, awkwardly. With a scare, Virgil realized why. All of the cabins were staring at them. Well, all the cabins that could see them. Being out past the curfew already called some attention, but being out with another camper, and walking to your door on the rain was another level.

"Thanks, Roman" Virgil said, finally "You didn't have to do this"

"Yes I had" Roman smiled, and a weird feeling hit Virgil in the guts "Good night, Emo Nightmare"

Taking a deep breath, Virgil stepped out in the rain for just a second, before entering the cabin. Immediately, 5 pairs of eager eyes turned to him. Virgil adjusted his hoodie, wishing he could disappear in its folds. Then he realized. He wasn't wearing his hoodie. He was wearing a leather jacket, and on top of that, Roman's red and white varsity jacket.

He borrowed it to me when I got cold due to rain. Oh my gods, this is so embarrassing. Someone please help me.

"So" Leah, a 16 year old girl, started "Roman Prince, huh?"

"What are you talking about?" Virgil asked, nervous, besides knowing exactly what she was talking about.

"I mean, I always thought you were..." Jacob, a tall slim boy, muttered "into guys. I mean, Manuella from the Aphrodite cabin hinted on you and you didn't even blink. And she's pretty."

"How is me being into guys related to this?" Virgil asked. Maybe if I pretend I have no ideia that looked romantic, they'll understand it wasn't romantic.

"Stop being oblivious!" Leah exclaimed "You're into ~Romaaaan~" She said the name kind of singing, in a teasing manner.

"I'm not into Roman!" Virgil blurted.

"Please, you're wearing his jacket!" Said Anne, a small girl with purple hair teasingly.

Oh my gods, does everyone in this cabin think I'm into Roman?

"I was cold! Where's Talyn?" Virgil quickly questioned, avoiding the comments about Roman giving you his jacket because you're cold? Wow, Prince, smooth!

"They're having a sleepover at the Iris cabin, with the Thomas and Joan."

"Well, I'm going to sleep" Virgil grumbled, sliding under his sheets.

The rest of the cabin, seeing that no more could be extracted from the anxious boy, went back to their beds.

With a bitter feeling on his mouth, predicting what would happen the next day, Virgil fell asleep
