My breath caught in my throat and I felt my whole body tense . Wait , then that means ....

"I have to do it with Jace ?! ," I screeched . He jumped at my outburst and looked away from my gaze . I couldnt help but think of it . Mating with Jace , him being mine forever . I felt the heat rise in my cheeks as shoved those heated thoughts out of my head .

"Wasnt being bitten enough ? ," I wailed . I may have imagined it with Jace , but didnt mean I wanted to love my V card to the guy . I dont even know him !

"Well .. Technically , that just claims you as his ," he muttered , clearly uncomfortable with the topic . "So , you went through this with Nicole ? ," I asked amused as I saw his cheeks turn red .

"Erm .. uh .. yeah ," he mumbled , blushing a deep scarlet . I nodded my head slowly and sat back down next to him . "Anything else that comes with this being mated to Jace ? I dont want to have to find out last minute again ," I admitted tiredly .

He thought about it and replied ," Well , since you havent completely mated with him yet , your going to go into heat in a matter of days ."

Theres that heat word again . "What do you mean by im going to go into heat ? ," I asked curiously again . He looked flustered again and coughed out ," Can you just talk to Nicole about this ? Its not exactly the best topic to talk with your older brother ."

I groaned , wanting to have answers right away and nodded . In a flash , Nicole walked into the room . She tugged Zaxon off the bed and shoved him out the door , locking it . She smiled innocently at me as if she didnt just do that .

She sat beside me and answered my question ," Heat is like .. How do I explain this ? .. Okay , I cant tell you what is it , but I can tell you what happens ."

I nodded and she continued ," Its sorta like a .. way to make sure you mate with your mate . It sorta makes you sex-crazed and your mate has to satisfy that need of yours . Since , you have an Alpha mate , your heat starts either today or tomorrow . I know because .. well I am an Alphas mate ."

I groaned as the mental pictures I had earlier came back into my head . "What else is there too it ? ," I asked , trying to think clearly . She bit onto her lower lip and replied ," Well .. I know you dont want to , but you better mate with him ."

"Why ? ," I asked bluntly . She chuckled and replied ," Because . He may have marked you as his , but if he doesnt handle your heat , than other unmated weres are pulled to you and they try to satisfy you ."

"Its not going to be a pretty sight . Plus , even if you dont want to , your wolf will fight for control and try to be mated . Jace will also have a hard time trying to stay away from you ," she chuckled as I blushed .

I didnt want to lose my virginity to him so soon , but I certainly did not want anyone else taking it . Its already bad enough I dont know Jace well enough and now I have to watch out for other strangers who try to take me .

"How long does this heat last ? ," I asked her . She thought about it and replied ," For normal mating bonds its a a few days . Since your an Alphas mate .. about a week ."

"A WEEK ? ," I exclaimed . Her eyes widened for a second until she started bursting into laughter . How can she be finding this funny ? I dont want to be all hormonal for an entire week . I already have trouble just being around Jace .

"Sorry , its just .. God , your face ! Your expression was too funny ," she said , giggling . I rolled my eyes and sat back down . When she contained herself , she looked at me seriously .
