Complete Bliss.

That's all I felt right now. Sitting on my mates lap. I couldn't believe it. I found my mate.

Ill be honest. I wasn't against having a mate, but I wasn't excited to have one either. But now .. I couldn't have asked for more.

His name is Kenneth Teal, Beta of BlackMane pack. My mate.

I didn't even need to smile at my thoughts because my smile was probably glued to my face . Im glad I followed in on the BBQ.

My insides fluttered as Kenneth mirrored my smile, showing me his pearly whites. My wolf was purring in satisfaction just being this close to her mate.

I stared into those butter yellow eyes of his and felt my heart melt at all the love I saw in them. Love for me. We probably have been staring at each other for more than 30 minutes, but it felt like seconds .

".. like it doesn't even happen that way! Ain't I right, Masy?!, " Nicoles voice finally made it to my ears. It took everything in my power to look away from my mate and to her expecting face.

"Uhm, yeah, " I just agreed. I honestly didn't even know what she was talking about. I heard Zaxon muffle his laughter while Nicole didn't look convinced. I felt the vibration coming from my mates chest as his deep chuckles rang through my ears. I would have glared at him, but his chuckles made a smile creep onto my face.

"Were you even listening?, " Nicole asked, feigning annoyance, but her eyes showed amusement.

I smiled apologetically and admitted, " No .. not really. " She rolled her eyes, but grinned widely at me, " Its okay. I understand how it is to first meet your mate ."

"I mean, I should know since my mate is Zax, but your mate is Kenneth. So that's a different story. But im glad your Kenn's mate. Kenn is sorta considered a brother to me and -, " she ranted, but Zax cut her off.

He pulled her along, leaving us, " Okay Mate. Leave them be. " I chuckled as her ecstatic facade completely did a 180 twist to pissed. "Am I a bother?, " she exclaimed outrage.

That's all I heard until they disappeared into the pack house. I let out a low whistle. I've never seen Nicole that way before.

My mates arms tightened lightly around my waist, making me look at him. "Dont mind them, " he assured.

I furrowed my eyebrows and replied, " How can I not? Nicole looked really ticked. Are you sure Zax will make it out alive? "

He rolled his eyes and smiled, amused. "Yup. Trust me. Nicole has just been ... moody," he commented. I raised an eyebrow at his statement. He was hiding something.

"What is it?, " I asked, curious. He oshook his head and denied, " No. Its their story to tell. "

Of course, if your really curious.. You wouldn't give up. And I sure as heck wasn't going to.

"Is it a good story or bad?, " I asked, putting on my innocent face. I could see him fighting with his wolf, but he finally sighed, giving in.

"Its a good story. That's all im telling you, " he answered. That's all I needed to know. I mean, I noticed lots of things.

When we first got here and they greeted us, Nicole and Zaxon just had this new glow about them. Nicole wouldn't stop eating and she even ate off of my plate. Also, I saw her baby bump when she jumped.

Yeah, its sorta complicating. Our lives are extended longer after we shift, but for pregnancies and stuff.. Some reason, the process is faster. Instead of nine months, its four . Hey! Dont ask me. I didn't study for pack doctor. That's Jamie you should ask.
