The final bell of the day rings and I make conversation with Phoebe as we walk towards the front doors of the school. "Uh oh." Phoebe says looking father towards the foyer, "what?" I ask following her gaze. Max stood there talking to another girl, it wasn't the fact that it was another girl it was his ex. Sam, Sam was a badass chick. Colored streaks of hair, cool outfits part of a good band. And most importantly still liked Max, "Hey Max!" Phoebe called out. Turning around he smiles at me as we approach, "Hey you guys know Sam. Sam this is my girlfriend Y/n." He introduces us. "Hi." she smile fakely. "Salutations." I say plainly to her, "Anyway Max, about that movie..." Sam trails off placing a hand on his arm. I try so hard not to be that girlfriend, but with Sam, I don't know she just gets me going! "Uh- I appreciate the offer but I'm busy Friday night." max was trying to be nice, he didn't want to hurt her feelings. She moves her gaze to me for a few moments, "Okay, another time." She smiles and walks away. "Gee what's her problem?" Max asks wrapping his arm around my shoulders, "Didn't you dump her a long time ago?" Phoebe questions. "Yeah, I don't know why all the sudden interest though." Max says oblivious, "Dude she was trying to get you back. She was flirting!" Phoebe points out. "No she wasn't...Was she?" Ma asks almost intrigued, "I gotta go." I walk away from the two and out the front doors. "Y/n? Babe!" Max calls out to me but I ignore him, call it a sixth sense but I knew something. Something bad, Sam had absolutely no intentions of just being friends with Max. And nothing was going to get in her way...Not even me.
