Lunch was essentially the most boring part of the day, considering I sat with Phoebe and Cherry there wasn't much to talk about. Across the lunch room I see Sam sitting with Max and his own band mates and I unconsciously become visibly angry. "Y/n, you okay?" Cherry asks me, "why?" I grit through clenched teeth. "Because you're murdering your Salad?" Phoebe questions, I look down to find a large amount of lettuce punctured by my fork. I push the plate forward slightly, letting a sigh roll past my lips. "I can't stand it, she's up to something and I know it." I glance back at Max's table, "So why don't you tell Max?" Cherry questions. "Are you crazy? He'll think I'm just another clingy girlfriend." I respond, "Or he'll realise you might be right and stop hanging around with her." Phoebe counter back. "I don't want to start a fight because I'm jealous of some girl." I tell her, "If she really is up to something he'll stop it won't he?" Cherry questions looking between Phoebe and I. "Yeah, hopefully." The bell rings bringing us to stand up and back to class, "I'll meet you after physics." Phoebe reassures me and I give her a slight smile before making my way down the hall. Sitting down in my usual seat for English I pull a pencil and a stack of sticky notes from my bag and begin to doodle, squiggles and lines form a dragon's eye on the square piece of fluorescent paper. I sigh, a hand slams itself on my desk. The dark nails and edgy rings tell me who it is, looking up Sam's eyes bore into mine. "He's yours now. But don't get too comfortable, I have a feeling it won't stay that way." She deadpans before walking to the back of the classroom and sitting down, I look back at her momentarily as a fake smiles sits on her face.
