I sat still as Phoebe curled my hair, pinning finished piece to the top of my head. "What if he sees me before the dance?" I asks worried about max seeing me early, "Relax, he's at a friends house they're all showing up together and their dates." Phoebe reassures me. "And there. All done." Phoebe smiles and I look into the mirror, my jaw drops. My hair was amazing my makeup was flawless, i didn't even look like myself. Fear and anxiety washes over, I still loved Max. I wanted him back, "what if he doesn't want me back?" I ring my hands together looking back at Phoebe who was already glammed up for the night, currently pushing in an earring. "If he doesn't, he's an idiot and doesn't deserve you." She replies quickly, "Now come on my parents are waiting." Phoebe grabs my hand and we head own stairs our heels clacking against the floor. Climbing into the car we make our way towards the school, "so what's the plan?" I ask her. There isn't one." She replies as if this is no big deal, "you don't need one. Trust me, have a good time and by the end of the night he'll be crawling back." Phoebe reassures me. I nod silently trying to convince myself of her words, at this point I honestly didn't care whether or not Phoebe was right or wrong. Pulling up to the school we both get out and walk through the front doors, I see max from across the room and he stares at me. Starstruck, Sam stands by his side. Phoebe quickly leads our way to Cherry. It was prom and I was going to have a good time, but the only thing I was certain of was my angering thoughts about some jackass who stole my boyfriend.
