The rain practically washed off everything else that was on me. Now I only smelled of vinegar, the waterfalls of tears blended with the rain still falling. Footsteps become louder and splash against wet pavement, "Y/n1 I've been looking everywhere for you." Max stands behind me and I can hear him panting. "Just go away," I say letting out a sniffle, but as usual he doesn't listen. He sits down next to me, "babe, you must be freezing." he says quickly draping his jacket over my shoulders. "Are you gonna be alright?" Max asks me, "Oh sure, the only night that a girl remembers has just gotten ruined and I'll never hear the end of it next week at school." I reply harshly. "I don't know Phoebe and Cherry dumped the punch bowl over her. Seems like that was more interesting to the other kids." Max tells me, I let out a small chuckle my lips curling slightly. "There's that smile." He says to me, "I really am sorry about everything I did... You didn't deserve that." He begins. "I love you more than anything." He looks at me sincerity in his eyes, "I'd kiss you, but It'll probably taste like vinegar." I smile at him. "I don't care." He replies placing his lips on mine, he pulls back after a few seconds rubbing his mouth. "Never mind I care, I care a lot." He coughs at the end of his sentence, looking at me with a cheeky smile. "You're a dork." I tell him, "yeah... But I'm your dork." He replies.

BIG OLE TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT WEEK

"Phoebe if you don't hurry up and take the picture my shoulders are going to snap," Max tells his sister. I kick his side, "I'm not that heavy." I scold looking down at him. "Alright say cheese!" There's a flash before Max helps me off his shoulders. I take the phone from Phoebe looking over it, "what do you think?" Max asks me with a smile. "I think It's locker worthy."
