CHAPTER 4: EXPLANATIONS AND PLANTS

Caitlin's Prov

Hermione and I had been sitting in the great hall when we heard from Seamus Finnegan that he saw the boys being dragged by Filch in the direction of Snape's office. As soon as he finished telling us Hermione and I looked at each other and immediately shot up from the table and started making our way out of the room of course I didn't miss the whispers such as

"Uh oh...those two better make a run for it" "Maybe it was a bad idea to tell them" "Ya think?...all we can do now is pray". Hermione and I knew we had to find the boys to find out if it was true.

"Ugh! Seriously we've been at school for an hour. What could have those idiots  possibly done within the hour" Hermione says as we search the corridors for the boys "It's Ron and Harry, with those two together anything is possible at the moment" I tell her "Well, they're not down any of the corridors we've just looked at" Hermione says as she places a hand on her hip and waves her other hand up in the direction we just walked away from.

Just then we hear a door slam and the two voices we have been looking for "I'm so dead. Mum is gonna kill me after she hears I was almost expelled!". We hear Ron's nervous voice in the distance Hermione and I look at each other giving each other a nod and furiously head in direction of the voices. Hermione and I have been waiting for the boys so we can give them a good talking to "You take Ron. I take Harry" I say and she nods in agreement.

When we turn the corner and see the boys looking very nervously at the two angry looking girls (Hermione and I) who are headed for them. Yeah they better be nervous and have a good explanation. Hermione and I reach the boys, Hermione stands in front of Ron and I stand in front of Harry with our arms crossed looking at the two who gulp at us.

"Where on earth were you? You missed the train, missed the sorting ceremony! Why can't you two stay out of trouble!" Hermione yells at the two putting her hands on her hips "Seriously guys! Your both gone for a bloody hour, just what in the world did you two idiots get up to that involved you two being taken into Snape's office! And I swear to Godric you two better have a bloody damn good excuse if you know what's good for ya's" I yell pointing a threatening finger at the two scared looking boys with one hand placed on my hip.

"Wellwhenwewereatthestationwetriedtogetthroughthebarrierbutitwouldn'tletusthroughsowehadtotaketheflyingcarbutRonforgottoputitinontheinvisibilityboosteratfirstsoafewmugglessawusbutthat'snotalltheimportantpartanywayweflewforawhilethenwedroveontothetraintracksandweheardasoundsoweturnedaroundandthetrainwascomingdirectlyforusandwescreamedandRontookareallysharpturnandifelloutofthecarandwasdanglingandstuffandIalmostdiedbutthat'snotthatimportanteitherandthenwecamehereandthecarbrokedownandcrashedintoatreeandthetreetriedtokillusthenthecarthrewusoutanddroveintothedarkforestsoweranintotheschoolandFilchcaughtusandtookustoSnape'sofficeandheyelledforabitbutthenDumbledoreandMcGonagallcame,and guess what we're not expelled so Caitlin and Hermione can you both please stop staring at us like that?" Harry says in a total of 10 seconds. *A/N: Try having a read of that😂*

Hermione and I take turns "H-Wait so you tried to go through the barrier at the station but didn't succeed. Then you accidentally exposed us to countless of muggles who saw a flying car" "C-So then you catch up with train only to realize that it was right behind you, taking a sharp turn causing Harry to fall out and dangle 50 feet in the air"

"H-Then you guys reach here only for the car to go down and crash into a Whomping willow tree that tried to attack you" "C-Then the car throws you out and drives off to the forbidden forest so you chase after it before running to the school and being caught by none other than Filch" "H-Who drags you's all the way to Snape's office where he yells at you's but get's interrupted by Dumbledore and McGonagall" "C-Who thankfully save your asses from expulsion!?"
