Jungkook murmured softly and rolled over, rubbing at his eyes dreamily and then slowly opened them. He smiled at the thought of Jimin next to him but that smile was cut short when he saw that Jimin was gone. He frowned as he sat up and all that was on Jimin's pillow was a note with his name on it. He dreaded to know what it said and slowly started to feel empty that Jimin was gone again. His heart was slow as he opened up the folded up piece of paper and began to read aloud.

"Jungkook I thought I'd save us both the trouble of an awkward encounter and left early. I don't understand why what happened last night happened but I know how complicated you have always been. But I respect the fact that maybe you are scared of getting married and that's why you needed something and I just happened to be there. I know it was wrong but you left me...so broken and unsure what to do that I think my love out weighed my reason. All I can say is that last night will always be very special to me and I hope you have a very wonderful life with Elizabeth. I wish it was me you loved but I respect that I'm just not good enough for you and never will be. Thank you for making me feel so special I never would have felt it without your kindness."

Jungkook kept staring at the note and then nodded his head because he understood what Jimin meant but wished he was here instead. It really was a lot better than their last goodbye really sweet and tender. He hugged the note close to his chest as he took in a shaky breath and wiped some fallen tears from his eyes.
"Goodbye Jimin..."
It still hurt slightly knowing that was their last kiss, the last time they'd be close and intimate. But in years to come he'd still have this, still have that final kiss and those feelings of him and Jimin to help him when he was with his soon to be wife. He got up eventually and went to have a quick shower before leaving not wanting the scent of sex on him when he saw Elizabeth.

He rang up a private car and quickly ushered himself inside incase anyone spotted him, keeping his hood up all the way home. He was nervous as he got inside and expected to run into either Taehyung or Elizabeth not that he and Taehyung were speaking a lot. He sensed the hate his felt for him and honestly he couldn't blame him. He went into his office hoping that Elizabeth was still asleep but instantly froze as he saw her sitting in his chair. She looked up to smile at him softly and was holding the photo of him and Jimin and tried not to tense.
"You're finally awake."
He sighed mentally with relief but still felt slightly agitated that she was holding something so important to him.
"Sorry I was looking for the wedding planner and..."
She paused for a moment waving the photo slightly and then shook her head as she smiled to herself.
"It's a nice photo you two must have been good friends."
"That's nobody..."
He felt wounded to even say that knowing very well he was somebody to Jungkook and knew he couldn't see him again.
"Really? You look close."
"We were once."
He cleared his throat wanting to stop her from going on about something she couldn't possibly understand.
"Hey maybe we could invite him to the wedding."
Jungkook ran his sleeve over the sweat on his forehead hoping she wouldn't noticed how nervous her saying that made him feel.

He tried to dismiss the idea and shook his head as he went over and gently took away the photo.
"I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not?"
She really looked so innocent not understanding the kind of powers she was messing with.
"It's been years since I've even saw him."
"Well I'd like to know the man you have a photo of stashed away in your draw."
The way she said that made him not only sound guilty but look guilty as he realised trying to not look down. He sighed mentally and then nodded his head because if he said no then she might get suspicious. If he didn't have a photo of Jimin he might have been able to lie and say the two fell out badly.
He put a hand reassuringly on her shoulder and took her chin under his fingers.
"If that's what my finance wants then we'll do just that."
She smiled happily and kissed him lightly on the cheek before smoothing his hair.
"Thank you darling anyway I'm gonna make us some breakfast."
He nodded his head and finally dropped his bright smile as soon as she was gone and sighed heavily, placing his hands in his head.
"Me and my big mouth..."
