Wedding planning was now something Jimin hated so much because he had to do a lot of the input and and because Elizabeth was always asking for his advice. He didn't mind honestly he didn't but it was like she was just unintentionally rubbing salt into the wound. Things were stressful enough with Jimin having to plan the engagement party and Jungkooks mother arriving in a matter of days. It was weird thinking that Jungkook was somebody's son which sounded daft but it was just so alien to him. Jungkook was just this smutty crude guy that Jimin loved the bones of. Which is why it hurt his heart each day knowing that Jungkook was marrying this girl. There was nothing they could do about it because the rules were so binding and it seemed impossible to escape the truth. If Jungkook chose Jimin he lost not only his dads throne but everything that came with it. The money and it meant the boy would be basically jobless. Jimin understood that and would never make him chose between the only life he had ever known over himself.

"Are you ok Jimin?"
"Yeah...sorry Lizzy."
They were at that stage now that Elizabeth didn't like formalities and she was very considerate despite her title. It should be the perfect match and if Jungkook wasn't gay maybe it would be. Jimin sometimes did wonder would it have been easier if Jungkook just was straight. It's something he had wondered himself when he was younger and still trying to keep up the image of straightness. He tried to fight it so much since his dad was as macho as most men came. But Jimin had never been macho he was always very soft, physically and even when he spoke. He had tried to be what most people would call manly but it wasn't easy. Even at school he had been misunderstood and often people did think he was a girl or he was bullied for being girly. But he couldn't help or change his own physical features or how he carried himself. So he tried saying he was bi at first because at least then he would only be half gay but everyone in the past wasn't convinced. Maybe if Jungkook was straight things would be fine and Jimin would just work for him and Elizabeth would be Jungkook's adoring wife only it wasn't that simple. And now things were just muddled together and everything around them was tainted. The castle felt empty and hollow to Jimin now. He didn't really understand where he was going to fit in to this picture. How long would he just exist by Jungkook's side?

Maybe things would have been better if he didn't take the job but so many amazing new things had come with it. He had experienced real genuine love with Jungkook and perhaps that's why he couldn't let go.
"You're thinking pretty hard."
Jimin snapped his head around and gawk at Elizabeth and suddenly felt guilty once again. He was use to feeling guilty by now and when she smiled at him it was worse. He was the other women or in this case the secret gay lover who was stabbing a poor girl in the back. Then again it was probably the most interesting thing he had ever done in his life. But hardly anything to brag about or indeed feel good about which of course he didn't
"Just stuff."
"Ok well I'm gonna head out but I'll catch you in a bit ok?"
"Sure."
Elizabeth smiled at him softly and gave his arm a gentle squeeze something she had been doing a lot of lately.

Just small friendly gestures that reminded Jimin he was the bad guy.
He sighed softly and began getting on with his daily tasks since Jungkook wanted everything to be perfect for his mother. That was something else Jimin had always wondered why she was never here? In the whole year Jimin had known Jungkook he had never seen as so much as a picture or heard Jungkook even talk about her. It was odd but then again Jungkook had so many different layers to him that Jimin was yet to unravel. That's why he had always found the boy so exciting and perhaps why he had fallen for him. A mysterious boy in so many cases.
