Flash Back of Sadness

Classes were over and I asked Joyce if she could take me to Noemi's house to get my car.

We got in her car and in the middle of the journey she asks

"I um heard you were at Peter's house."

"*clears throat* Yeah um, he just wanted to ask me a question,"

"Uh huh, oh ok, I just thought something happened between you two."

"Oh no, no, no, nothing happened."

I turned to look at the window and watched as the scenery passed by, with a secret smile.

"Is Noemi home?" I asked Joyce, when we arrived at Noemi's house.

"No she went to go visit Jessie at the hospital."

Of coarse, Jessie! I need to go see her

"Ah, I forgot."

"Forgot what?"

"Jessie was at the hospital," I said sadly.

I then got in my car, exited it the driveway, and waved good-bye to Joyce as I drove off.

"Do you need a glass of water, juice, anything, I'll get it for you."

Jessie laughs.

It's nice to see her laugh.

"No its fine Maggie, I just had a heart attack, that's all."

"Just had? Jessie, heart attacks usually lead people to DEATH, do you know how lucky you are to have survived that."

"*sigh* ok, I do feel like having some donuts."

"Donuts check, anything else?"

"And, if you don't mind, a Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla drink also."

"Alright, anyth-."

"Yes that will be it."

"Ok, a donut and drink, coming up."

I got out of the room and went to the hospital cafeteria.

I got a strawberry donut with sprinkles, and since I was kind of was hungry myself I got one myself with chocolate and sprinkles, and I also a French Vanilla Dunkin Donuts drink.

I went to cashier and paid the bill.

I came into Jessie's room with the things she ordered and I ordered, taking space of my arms.

Jessie then laughed when she saw me with my arms full.

"Guess I wasn't the only one that was hungry."

I laughed too.

Just when I was about to give her, her order I hesitated.

"You sure I can give you this."

"Uh...I don't know.."

"Since I don't want you to die, Iet me ask the doctor, if it's ok."

It sounded kind of like if I was playing around, but trust me, I wasn't.

I tried to find a doctor with the name Dr.Kennel, at least that's what Jessie told me that was her doctor.

I finally found a person that worked here and kindly asked them

"Do you know anyone named Dr.Kennel?"

The person turned around and was obviously the janitor of the hospital with the overalls they were wearing and plus were mopping the floor.
