Oof.

It was obvious that every one of us was scared, intimated practically all the words that mean scared that's what we were feeling.

"Do you think we're going to get in trouble?" asked Maria.

"If we are, I'm throwing hands," Joyce adds.

"Huh?" Rebecca gives Joyce a confused face.

"Oh it just means I'll love them, like for example I'm going to throw hands at you."

"Ohhhh."

I laugh to the side.

Oh innocent innocent Rebecca.

"We shouldn't be laughing, this is supposed to be serious," Maria joins in.

Everyone looks at her.
.
.
.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" we all laugh.

"I'm serious guys!" She says over our laughter.

"Ok ok, we'll stop," Joyce says.

Though when we reached the principal's office my stomach was already churning.

"Right on time, take a seat," the principal welcomes us, as we barely open the door.

There was only a few chairs so one of the office workers had to come in and get some more.

"First I want to say that I am deeply sorry to hear about your friend."

We all looked at one other holding back tears. I mean can't they just keep it to themselves and stop feeling sorry for us, honestly it's just making the situation worse, but not trying to offend Mrs.Principal.

"And second I've noticed each one of you girls' grades dropped, well obviously not at the same time, but definitely not at the limit this school allows."

I looked down at my hands in embarrassment.

~Mrs.Principal sighs~

"

But I want to prevent from each one of you girls getting kicked out, and the only way to do that is to do Community Service."

We each had a different reaction, mine was simply trying not to fail this college.

"It might be a bit boring and don't want to do it, but if you want to stay, that's my helping hand."

I looked at Aris who was sitting next to me, and I could tell she didn't want to do this, so I gave her an encouraging nod.

"I'll do it," I say.

"Me too," Noemi adds.

"Me three," Rebecca exclaims.

I turn to Maria, Joyce and Aris, since they still haven't said anything.

"I'll give you girls till Friday to figure it out, by then the choice has been decided, you may leave."

Once we were a safe distance from the office Aris started to spill the truth

"I really don't like to do work, but at the same time I don't want to leave this school, where would I go?!"

  Then Joyce spilled her truth

"Same here, but I think it's worth a try, if it means it's the only way to stay."

Maria didn't even care in her part

"I honestly don't care, I'll try it but if I don't like it I'm moving to another college."
