I'm Ready

~

  Me and Hoseok discussed about him commiting suicide, I was able to prevent him from doing it but he said to keep it a secret, so I can't expose how I was able to convince him.

  As I dropped off Hoseok at Aris's house her face was priceless to Hoseok and I could tell because the way they both smiled at each other.

  I smile at the romantic scene then everything started to become a blur, then a black hole, and then me waking up to the sound of the alarm.

  I shut it off with frustration. I didn't want to go to school since everyone thinks I'm the one who "killed my own best friend."

  Wait, I wonder if my dream was true, and if the past affects the present!

  I quickly changed, did my hair, and ate breakfast, grabbing my backpack from the hanger at the front door and drove to school not bothering to go get coffee.

  As I head to the front gate I already see my friends gathered together, and looked...happy?

  "Maggie!"

  I look more closely and see it was Rebecca who called me and I wave at her as a response.

  "Thank you so much again," Aris tells me.

  I look at her in confusion and she laughs.

"For bringing Hoseok to my house that day."

"Ohhhhhh...yeah no problem that's what friends are for, by the way how is he?"

"Hoseok? He's doing fine, Da Won is staying at my house for a couple of days to take care of Hoseok."

"Ah."

"So when are you publishing it?" Joyce asks.

"Yeah we've all been waiting!" Noemi adds.

"I mean, it's been your dream for a long time," Maria says.

"Huh? What are you guys talking about?" I reply, in curiosity.

"Your book your publishing, does that ring a bell?" Aris exclaims.

~I gasp~

  So I told them about the book I was keeping in the past too! I wonder what else I said or did.

  "Oh that, it's almost done but then I have to go through this process, but so far so good."

  "Eeee!!! I'm so excited," Rebecca says, jumping up and down.

  I looked around me, and till right now I noticed someone was missing.

"Why do I feel like someone is missing?" I ask.

"Your probably thinking of Jessie, she's getting out of the hospital in 3 days so don't worry," Rebecca replies.

  Of course! How could I have forgotten about Jessie!

"Ah, I miss her, we should all go visit her," I say.

"I can go," immediately says Noemi.

"Same, plus I'm checking on her daily," adds Rebecca.

"I can't go, I'm busy helping out Da Won," says Aris.

"I'll check if I can go," exclaims Joyce.

"I'm not busy so yeah I can go," finally says Maria.

  I nod.

"Our meet up spot will be at the Starbucks cafe, hm...around 4?"

They all give me a nod and I nod back.

*Ring ring!*

"Bye guys!" I say to all of them.

"BYE!" They respond back.

~ Skipping to after school~

  I was about to go in my car when I feel someone touch my shoulder and I instantly turn around in reaction.

"Oh V, you startled me!"

"Sorry, I have question for you."

"Sure."

"I ready to tell her, but I scared."

"It's ok V, if you really like this girl, nothing will and can stop you."

  He brings a hand on my shoulder.

"Thank you Maggie."

"No problem, that's what I'm here for."

  He let's his hand drop to the side and waves goodbye to me as he runs to the front of the gate.

  Hmm...my instincts tell me to follow him.

  I stand still for a few minutes then decide to follow him, with my phone ready to record. Once I reach the front gate I could already hear V's strange English.

"Um...could I talk private?"

"What do you want?"

  That voice...is that JOYCE?!? HE LIKES JOYCE??! This keeps getting better and better.

  I peek around the corner of the wall and see them heading to a classroom.

  Dang it! Wait a minute...

  Once they're both inside I was able to find an open window and pull out my phone and start recording looking at the romantic scene through my phone screen.

"I um...have secret to tell you."

"Alright, but I don't want to be mean but I need to leave to visit one if my friends at the hospital."

  I could tell Joyce was nervous, what if...she likes him too *squels* this is the best ship, they make a cute couple!!!

  "I like you Joyce."

  Silence.

  I look at the screen and V is taking a closer step towards her, and she steps back.

"But I thought you liked Maria, or Maggie?"

  He laughs.

"No, Maggie not really my type and Maria neither."

"Oh..."

"So you like me too?" He asks, fidgeting with his fingers.

  At the screen I could see her face turning a bright pink or red I couldn't tell cause of the lighting.

"Yes."

  I literally was going to break the glass window and barge in with roses and chocolates, congratulating them.

  On the phone screen I could see him kneel down.

  Is he going to propose!?!

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

  Joyce hesitates, but in a good way, to add a bit of a dramatic touch.

"Yes."

  V's face was the definition of a sun, so bright and happy at that moment.

"But we need to keep it a secret for a few days, since you know how Maggie gets when her ships turn to real life."

  V scrunches up his face.

"I may told her."

"What?! Then she must be around here, look for her!"

  That's my cue to leave.

  I stand up and instead of being a normal human running away for her life I decided to jump the wall like a crazy lady running away from an alien invasion, and made it in time to go home in peace, but it's better to keep it a secret, if they want to get use to being a couple in peace. So I'll give them till the day Jessie comes out from the hospital.
