You once told me I had immunity from your bullets
That I could trust you
So I put you before everyone else.
We found love in being different
But what I didn't realise is that everyone is different
It didn't turn out to be true
And here we were
You, broken
And me, untouched
I can live without you.
Can you live without me?
You didn't give yourself immunity from those same bullets
And you will always have to live with the things you've done
I will always be a part of your life
Even if now I am simply
One of the others
Goodnight

my secret mistakes • {poetry}
PoetryThe most deeply personal thing I may ever write, from an old soul trapped in a young body. Imagine a window into my life, my unfiltered, strange and unpredictable life. These are the things I am too afraid to tell anyone. So, welcome to my mind.
