I cannot wait for the day I find him.
The one who will change me.

He will go to cemeteries with me,
And hand me the stray flowers he finds on the floor.

He will dedicate his songs to me,
And me blow a kiss from the small stage.

He will wear knackered trainers,
And let me borrow his hoodies.
They have his scent on after all.

He'll drive me to desolated places,
In his silver car,
And help me pack my bags when I want to run away with him.

He will give me his grey jacket
To protect me from the harsh winter,
And he'll smoke cigarettes with me whilst we talk about life, and how we'll be together forever and ever.

And ever.

Even though it's not strictly true,
Future lover, I'm in love with you.
