Bedai's P.O.V
Barely having the time to weave the signs: "Earth style, Mud Dragon!"
Raki yelled at me, driving out the way: "Watch it!"
: "Sorry!" I deflected a few incoming shiriken. "These guys are pretty tough!"
I could hear my sister yell at me from her spot beside Gaara: "Really now?! We couldn't tell!"
: "Now is not the time for that Taki!!"
Dashyte's screams reached our ears, Raki was instantly turned around and trying to get to his sister. His katana made skillful cuts, easily slicing through the enemy's skin. Blood was dripping off of everyone and continued to spray out from each new wound we made.
Dashyte's P.O.V
My lungs burned as i gasped for air. There's just no end to them and i still can't get to anyone else from our group. 'What am i supposed to do?!'
A blade bit into my back making me scream out in pain. Next thing i knew my brother had his arm around my waist holding me up as he held his katana out in front of him.
Steam started to rise from his sword: "Fire style,...Inferno!" Flames shot off from his blade following his movement as he drew in a straight line across anyone that stood in front of us.
wiggling out of his hold: "How did you get over here so fast?!"
Raki gripped his katana: "Because you needed me too." He charged the woman closest to him raising his sword high.
While defending myself: "Weren't you with Bedai?!"
Raki jumped back, pressing his back against mine: "Yeah, i was. He's with mom now....Earth style, Spears!"
Thin jagged rocks shot out of the ground piercing right through the bodies in it's path, while scraping others. I was sending ice kuni's in about every direction though only a few actually made contact.
Taki's P.O.V
In a panic: "Water style, Water Whip!" A thin line of water extended on both of my arms.
Gaara quickly jumped back: "Crystal! Switch!"
Soon Dashyte's mom was by my side, sweat dripped down the side of her head, but her lips were still curled up in a smile. She glanced at me: "Would you like some help with that?
Before i could answer, snowflakes started to fall around us. I could feel the water on my arms turn cold. Frost started to appear on the tips of the enemy's weapons. They glanced at each other, somewhat unsure of what to do next.
The wind picked up speed as Crystal raised her hands up in front of her, she tilted her head to the side: "Ragging Blizzard!!!"
Suddenly white was all i could see. I could vaguely make out the sound of muffled screams of agony. In the few breaks in the surging snow, i could see just how deadly this Crystal could be. Small cuts were forming all over the four men trapped in her justu. They grasped at their throats as if the wind howling around them was reaching inside and stealing the air from their lungs.
Soon the beautiful white snow was turned into a dark red. Four more bodies lay motionless on the ground, blood slowly seeping out onto the already stained ground.
Dashyte's P.O.V
Sand, ice and blood were everywhere. Bodies lay either grasping at a soon to be fatal wound or motionless in the sand. 'Why are there so many? How much longer will this go on? Is everyone alright?'
Raki grabbed my shoulder: "Get back!"
He threw me back out of the way of incoming earth based attack. A solid wall of rock collided with him sending him flying back.
Stumbling to my feet, i ran over to him: "Raki!" But when i tried to help him up, he just pushed my hands away. "Baka, just let me help you."
Shakily he stood without my help, but fell back down clutching his rips and coughed up some blood.
: "Hey, hey, hey, calm down. You probably broke some ribs taking that hit. Don't worry i'll..."
Raki's head snapped up, his arm shot out in front of me pulling me down behind him. I could barely see him drawing his Katana as he shoved me back.
Upon hearing his grunt followed by the sound of blood splatter, i knew what had happened, but i didn't want to look. I didn't want to see it, i didn't want it to be true.
Bedai called out to us: "Hey Raki, Is that the last one?....Raki?.....Hey Raki, answer me!!"
Taki: "Is that Dashyte behind him?!"
Everyone came running over, all stopping a few feet away staring at the scene in shock. Even Kya who normally was so audacious stood silent.
The man in front of my brother gave out first. Even though i could only stare at the ground i could tell Raki was still standing. Soon after the man fell, i could hear strained groans followed by the clatter of a blade hitting the ground.
Raki: "Dash..yte?" I couldn't answer him, i couldn't raise my eyes to meet his. "Dashyte?" Shuffling around he slid down to his knees. "Are you..o..k?"
Tears started to blur my vision: "I,..you...you didn't have to..."
Raki reach forward gently grasping my chin making me look up at him: "I always...wanted....to die...protecting you." He smiled at me as i reached forward. "Good-bye..sis.."
His eyes slid shut as his body slumped falling to the side. Everyone stood in silence, watching as i sat there with tears streaming down my face.
: "Good-bye...brother..."
