Chapter 10

Dashyte's P.O.V

Bedai raised an eyebrow: "What's going on? Why do we have to race back?"

My mother crossed her arms, while leaning against the wall behind Gaara's desk: "I'm not sure, but we received a message earlier this morning saying a few squads from the leaf have run into some trouble on their way over."

Taki: "So they want our help?"

Gaara nodded, but his lips were still stuck in a frustrated frown: "Yes, but something does not set right."

: "So in other words 'keep your eyes open', right?"

Crystal: "Yes, keep your guard up as well."

Gaara: "We do not know how many more were connected with that group that attacked us."

Crystal put a hand on dad's shoulder: "So please, be careful."

Bedai nodded and turned to leave with me, but Taki grabbed his hand: "Make sure you all come back."

Kuraudo reached forward ruffling Taki's hair: "We'll do our best."

Taki sighed, but released her death grip on her brother's hand letting us leave the office and on to our mission.

Toge's P.O.V

: "Isn't this kinda weird? I mean i know their upset and everything..."

Shijena: "But shouldn't they have at least come up with a plan first?"

My sister nodded as we traveled through the trees: " I know Crystal can be really scary when she's mad, but it still isn't like her to request us to help them find this highly skilled group to just take them out without any kind of plan."

Tanka: "I think Sainto is right. Though a mother's wrath is something you should definitely fear, i don't think this is the course of action the Kazehoge would take."

Kozote: "So what do you think is going on?"

Tanka narrowed his eyes: "I think were going straight into a trap."

Sainto's P.O.V

Tanka: "Hanabria, look ahead of us, if you would please."

Hanabria nodded: "Hai,..." Focusing in front of her. "Byackugon....It's Bedai, Dashyte and Kuraudo."

Kozote: "I thought they were supposed to be stuck somewhere?"

His sister hit him over the head: "Weren't you listening, were probably going into a trap."

Kozote gave a sheepish smile: "Oh yeah."

We all came to a sudden stop as the our friends from the sand almost ran into us. Bedai looked a little confused, but both Dashyte and Kuraudo kept a straight face as they continued to glance around.

Kuraudo's P.O.V

Looking at Tanka i knew he had pretty much figured out this was a trap as well: "So what did your scroll say?"

Shijena: "It only said 'We request your help in capturing or annihilating the remaining rouge ninja that attacked our group and killed one of our own'. Not very informative, but it had the correct seals on it."

Hanabria looked to Dashyte: "And what about yours?"

Dashyte frowned: "Ours was very similar. We received it this morning and all it said was 'We request your assistance. A few of our squads have been surrounded in the forest near your village.' Even though it had all the necessary seals we figured it was fake."

Toge tilted his head: "How?"

Bedai answered for me: "For one obvious reason, it didn't sound like Naruto at all."

Kozote smiled putting his hands behind is head: "Yeah, that would be a good give away."

Dashyte head jerked to the side as Hanabria turned to the side and spoke the few words we all knew were coming while sliding into her gentle fist stance: "Guys, we have company."
