Dashyte's P.O.V

As we were walking to the gate, saying our good-byes: "Don't get to bored in your retirement. You know you're always welcome to come visit us."

Kakashi slightly glared at me: "Just because i'm retired does not mean i'm an old man."

giggling: "I know, i know."

Crystal: "Dashyte, quit teasing your grandfather." putting emphasis on the 'grand'.

Kakashi: "Hey!"

My mother covered her mouth in a failed attempt to hide her smile. Kakashi sighed letting his shoulders slump.

Taki: "Why do we have to go back so soon? I mean we like just got here."

Raki put a hand on her shoulder: "We still have issues going on around our border. When we get that taken care of then we can come back."

Bedai cracked his knuckles: "So we just gotta find these guys and beat em up. Simple enough."

A sweat drop slid down my brothers head: "Right..."

Taki's P.O.V

The sun is so bright in the desert. I wonder why it feels so different here from the leaf. We still under the cover of the trees, but the temperature is already rising.

Bedai: "There's our familiar ground."

Just up ahead of us lay the wide open desert with almost nothing but sand for as far as the eye could see.

Raki: "Shouldn't be too much longer then."

Though i noticed my friend was looking a little on edge: "Hey Dashyte, is everything ok?"

Dashyte shook her head, never taking her eyes off the brush to the side: "Do you guys feel that?"

Bedai: "Feel what?"

Gaara sudenly jumped forward sending his sand right past us into the brush we were staring at: "RUN NOW!"

Crystal was instantly beside us urging us to move: "Come on, Come on! It's an ambush!"

My brother grabbed onto my wrist quickly pulling me along side him as we ran. I noticed Raki doing the same to Dashyte. I looked over my shoulder behind us, but that was a bad idea. The group that was attacking had to be the group that was disrupting our border, but just by looking at their chakra networks they all had to be S level or higher. There was no way we could all take them on.

Kya was suddenly running at my side: "Stay focused little lady."

: "Hai!" But then something took a hold of my ankle. "Wha?!" I was jerked back, my face dragging across the dirt for a few seconds before i managed to flip my body over.

Raki was instantly in front of me, kuni drawn slicing the rope attached to me. He didn't look back at me as he asked "Are you ok?"

: "Ye..yeah, thank you." He quickly turned around scooping me up in his arms and continued to run.

Bedai yelled at us from a few steps ahead: "You guys ok?"

: "Just fine."

Dashyte sounded a little panicked: "Um, guys...we may have a problem."

Raki started to ask "What kind of prob..." But then someone slammed into his side making him drop me. We both went tumbling across the ground.

I could hear my brother yell my name, but all i could hear was a ringing in my ears for some reason. I shook my head but everything was blurred, i could barely tell a body was leaning down in front of me.

Whoever it was grabbed at my waving hands: "Calm down for a second!" They wiped their thumbs across my eyes a few times.

When i opened my eyes i could see it was Dashyte. She grabbed my hand pulling me up: "Now let's move it!"

But before we got very far an explosion went off in front of us sending us flying back.

Dashyte's P.O.V

I tumbled across the ground, small rocks digging into my skin as i rolled past. Everyone was know stuck in a unfavorable battle. None of this looked good.

Separated from Taki and Everyone else i tried to catch my breath while avoiding all the flying debri from all the explosions going off. I could see Bedai and my brother fighting back to back. Gaara was doing his best to protect Taki. While i could just make out my mother holding her own.

A few of the S rank noticed me hiding off to the side, my eyes narrowed, i had to get next to someone else. There was no one i would make it on my own and looking around only proved my point.

Well, here goes nothing. I jumped forward pulling out a few shiriken letting lose a battle cry. 'Please, dear kami...let us get out of this alive.'
