"What?" My mom said giving me a shocked look, I sat her down on the bed and explained her the whole scenario and how it happened, she quickly got up and dialed 911, I then snatched the phone away,
"No, you can't do that, not yet. We don't know what he could do to us." I put the phone down and hugged her once more, "I'm just glad I'm back home." I sighed.
After me and my mom's small talk we walked downstairs and she looked confused when she saw Erin,
"Mom," I said as I stood next to Erin, "this is Erin, Erin this is my mom" I said pointing to my mom,
"Nice to meet you miss." He said while shaking her hand,
"Nice to meet you too, um Vanessa honey, who's this?" She asked looking at me
"Thats my dads son, so my step brother." I said as I sat next to Derek and laughed when I saw my moms face expression,
"So what exactly are we going to do about this bastard of a dad you two have? No offense miss Sandoval" Asked Derek, his elbows leaning on his knees while he sat.
"Oh, none taken." My mom said as she too sat on a chair.
"Um, well right now he must of found out we escaped." Erin looked at me, "meaning he can come get us right now."
"Not on my fucking watch he wont," Derek quickly grabbed me and pulled me close, "no one is going to touch her."
"I think we should just call the police." my mom suggested as she grabbed the phone.
"NO." Me, Erin and Derek yelled, scaring her.
"We have no proof miss," Erin said politely.
"Yeah, the police aren't going to do anything but say that they'll keep a look out." added Derek.
"Well its sure as hell better than sitting here scared to death that he can come any minute." She said dialing the three numbers.
