"Five, six, seven, eight" as we finished practicing our dance moves and coordination once again. The presentation day had finally arrived, and I was glad Jackson could make it for today. He was sitting at the special guests area with the rest of the boys, watching every performance; I must admit I was feeling very nervous, some of the performers were really good at it, but I tried not to focus on that and rather focus on doing well myself.

I high fived the three girls that rushed out of the stage as they finished their performance, they were good friends of mine so I took the opportunity to congratulate them

"Thanks, you're up next! So good luck" one of them smiled brightly at me and I smiled back with a nod
"Thanks!" I said, taking Hatai's hand in mine, exhaling all the nerves out. I let go of her hand the moment they said our names, shortly after we walked out, smiling.

I positioned myself, my back facing the audience as I faced Hatai. The beat of the music started playing and I felt my nerves rise up as I sang the first line

'Love is amazing, yeah' I tried to make it as neat as possible. Since the beat of the music was pretty chill, we tried making chill moves too, and here we were, dancing and singing our nerves off.

I occasionally stole glances at the guys, who were cheering and hyping us up; that made me feel very comfortable doing my thing, and felt as if I was just showing the guys what I could do. I looked at Hatai as we slid and changed positions, giving her a soft wink, since I noticed she wasn't having fun at all and instead was a little stressed. She smiled at me and winked back, smiling at the crowd as we made a spin

'I'm surprised every day
It changed me before
I knew it
On top of my empty face
New days are being drawn' I sang as sweet as I possibly could. I was really enjoying this, and before I knew it, the song was coming to an end already.

'You are my starlight, I can't hide it When we're together, it feels like my heart is dancing' I looked at Jackson, who was looking at me with the biggest grin ever.

"Thanks for being here! Hope you're having fun" I said into the microphone and earned a roar from the crowd, I could hear cheering and damn, it felt good. I smiled

"A special thanks to the guest group GOT7 for being here! This is for you" Hatai said, shortly after that an upbeat song started playing and once again the fair crowd went wild. I glanced at the boys, a smirk all over my face. It was 'Fly' what we were singing and dancing to. The school had asked if we could make a sort of tribute to them, as a thank you for coming to the show and all, and of course we said yes.

We had practiced this so many times, and even had added a few flips and some dance moves to some parts; we were definitely having the time of our lives while performing it. I took a look at the guys, and they were all standing up, clapping and cheering, they were always so supportive to us it was insane. I smiled as we finished, and with no other gesture than my smile and a piece sign, we left the stage.

"Yah, that was amazing!" I hugged Baby tightly having her hug me back
"I know right! We definitely nailed it" she laughed as we pulled back from the hug
"It was great" I said again, having this grin all over my face that wouldn't come off easily.

"In third place we have, drum roll please!"
"Park Jimin and Kim Yaerin!" The MC said into the microphone, giving both girls a small trophy
"And in second place we have..!"
"Hataichanok Buwakhul And Lee Sunhi!" She said and we both smiled, exchanging a tight hug. Yes, we were immensely happy! Even if we didn't win first, we did our best and that was enough.  The mc proceeded to give each of us a second place medal, then we bowed and walked off stage. The guys had already performed, and it was sick as hell! They were really good live and I definitely enjoyed their performance.

"Heyy! You guys did amazing, congratulations" JB said, giving us a high five each, the rest of the members doing the same, but then Jackson hugged me tightly, lifting me up from the ground and then placing me back, putting his arm around me like I was his property. I just smiled and blushed lightly at his actions, but didn't shake him off and instead I wrapped my arm around his waist.

"You know, I'm glad you never actually sang the whole song for me.. I had a good surprise today" he said, a huge smile on his face
"Oh really?" I asked with a smile as big as his
"Yep! Your singing is great, and those harmonies were amazing.. plus, your dancing really improved since we started practicing, and Baby, you did great too! But I was speechless at the lyrics though, both of you wrote them?" He said glancing back and forth from Baby to me

"Actually, I have to give full credit of that to Sunhi, she really did a good job with the lyrics"
Said Baby with a smile, we were all walking down the street to a restaurant nearby, and believe it or not, the fans didn't get in our way at all.

"That was a great song Sunhi, I bet you guys could release it and have it be successful" Jinyoung said, having the others agree with his statement
"Well, I think it could work.. but as for me, I don't want to do that for a living I guess" I said with a soft shrug, I actually had a simple dream of opening a dance studio; I've always loved dancing, but with this project my passion for it kind of exploded.

"Well, it's such a shame because you sing very well" BamBam said
"But anyways, was that song for Jackson?" Asked Mark our of nowhere
"Mm, not quite it" I said, a soft blush creeping up my cheeks as I buried the side of my face on his chest as we kept walking
"Then who is it about?"
"It's of you guys, all of you; not just Jackson, but everyone of you" I said softly, and my response was a chorus of cuing. Now, Baby and some of the guys already knew this but they still wanted to tease me for being so soft

"But it's true guys, what I wrote, you are my starlight.. if it wasn't for you, I would probably still be a lifeless girl with no dreams... and a non existent love life, but here I am.. full of color and it's all thanks to you, you make me shine" I said, lifting my head a little to look at them as I said that, and even pecking Jackson's cheek as I was done. This time they remained silent, no teasing or anything, but it wasn't awkward at all, it was more like.. reflecting.

"You are so corny" BamBam said after a while
"Yah!" I said, hitting his arm and earning small laughs from everyone else
"It's true, but thanks for letting us be part of your life too, and believe it or not, because of you who shine for us, we have brighter days and nights" Youngjae said as he patted my arm lightly. I smiled widely at this, and couldn't help but break from Jackson's embrace and hug him tightly, then I went back to Jackson's wing and finally we got to the restaurant.

I recently realized, that we are actually each other's starlight. And what a beautiful thing that is.
