Mortals Meet Demigods

New Hunters?

Thalia was with the Hunters. They were hanging out in an apartment they owned in New York City.

"You know what we need?" A girl named Chloë asked.

"More Hunters." everyone said.

"And soon." A girl named Jen said.

"Why don't we look now?" Phoebe suggests.

"We can split into groups." A girl named Jay suggests.

"Nice ideas." Thalia says. "How about Chloë, Sasha, and Mabel in one group, Jen, Phoebe and Kayley in another, Candy, Joan, and Jay in another, and Wendy, Opal, and me in the last? Everyone else can hang back here."

"Sounds like a plan." Joan says.

Everyone splits into their groups.

"My group will go to Times Square. Phoebe, take your group to Central Park. Chloë, take your group around on the streets. And Jay, take your group to Camp Half Blood." Thalia says.

They all go their separate ways.

Let's take a look at Thalia's group first.

"How do you know when we find a demigod?" Opal asks.

"I just know, okay?" Thalia responds.

"Okay." Wendy says.

They come to a girl who Thalia can sense is a demigod.

"Wendy, tap on her shoulder." Opal whispers.

"No, you do it." Wendy responds.

"No, you." Opal replies.

"No, you." Wendy counters.

"Just stop it guys! I'll do it!" Thalia screams.

Thalia walks up and taps the girl on the shoulder.

"Hi!" Thalia says.

"Umm... Hi?" the girl says.

"I'm Thalia, and these two are Opal and Wendy." Thalia explains.

"Wait... You guys are with that Artemis thing, right?" the girl asks. "I'm Abby, by the way."

"You already know you're a demigod?" Opal asked.

"Of course! I was just visiting my dad in the city. I was planning on going back to Camp Half Blood right now. I'm a daughter of Athena." Abby responded.

"Well... Do you want to join the Hunters?" Wendy asked.

"Um... No offense, but it's kinda lame. And I don't really want to be stuck in an all girls group that isn't allowed to date and is immortal." Abby replies.

Abby walks away.

"That didn't go as well as I planned." Thalia said.

Now that that's over let's go check on Phoebe's group.

"How are we going to be able to tell when we find a demigod?" Jen asked.

"I'll know one when I see one." Phoebe says.

"Okay." Kayley grumbles.

The group continues to look through Central Park.

At one point, Phoebe stops where she is.

"Why'd you stop?" Kayley questions.

"Cause she sensed a demigod, Dumbo." Jen says.

"Shut your faces, you two." Phoebe orders.

Phoebe looks around. She spots a girl wearing all black withe a red shirt on under her leather jacket. She drags the two over to the girl.

"Hi. I'm Phoebe." Phoebe says. "These two nut balls are Jen and Kayley."

"Umm... What are you doing here?" the girl questions. "I mean, I know you're Hunters of Artemis, but why are you talking to me?"

"Well, we were looking for more Hunters, and you seemed like you'd be a good one." Phoebe said. "But before I say anything else, I just have to ask: What is your name and who is your godly parent?"

"I'm Jamie, daughter of Nemesis." the girl, Jamie, says.

"Well, Jamie, would you like to join the Hunters?" Phoebe, Jen, and Kayley ask at the same time.

"Sure, why not?" Jamie responds.

The group runs back to the apartment to make Jamie a Hunter.

Now, let's go check up on Chloë's group.

"My feet hurt!" Sasha complained.

"Mine too." Mabel agreed.

"We were supposed to find more Hunters, but I don't want you two complaining." Chloë grumbled. "Let's just go back."

And they all trudged back to the apartment.

Let's go look at the final group, Jay's group.

The trio walked up to Chiron.

"Could you gather up everyone in the Amphitheater?" Jay asked.

"Of course." Chiron responded.

After about 20 minutes, everyone was there.

"What is this all about?" Clarisse yelled.

Chiron shushed her.

"We are looking for anyone who wants to join the Hunters Of Artemis." Jay announced.

"Anyone want to be one?" Candy follows.

"Come up here!" Joan finished.

Three girls walked up to them.

"You can come with us." Jay said. "But first, tell us who you are."

"Marina, daughter of Apollo." One said.

"Jessica, daughter of Ares." The next one said.

"Charlotte, daughter of Athena." The last said.

"Let's get you guys to the apartment." Jay said.

And That finishes the chapter! I hope you liked it. It took a while to write.

Comment your favorite YouTuber. I may need a lot of them for a future chapter.

Anyways, I'm going to write some more random chapters. I'll try to update at least once a week.
