Baldi and your mother never hurt the child, even THEY had standards. Well...not too  badly anyway. Mostly yelling and a few slaps of his ruler were enough to get the point across. "You are to stay here until further notice. Do you understand?" He said to the child. The boy, with a red face from the "pain" he felt from the ruler, nodded slightly. He held his hand to his chest, and sat down, watching the clock.

Baldi rolled his eyes at the sight. He moved towards the door, opening it for your mother. "Such a gentleman good sir." She said with a smile. "Oh..of course." He said. Baldi made his way towards the principals office, with your mother hot on his heels. She easily caught up with him. "So you teach my child yes?" Baldi stopped, and looked at her. "Yes. They are very smart and clever, I am impressed with their work. They have yet to get anything wrong or have caused any trouble." Your mother beamed with pride. "I am glad to hear that they are doing well." She looks off down the hall. "Y/N doesn't really talk about school anymore. So I am glad to know that all is well...besides what happened of course. " Baldi didn't know what to say. You rarely talked about your school day with your mother? How odd...most students that he talked to usually did. Was something wrong at home? He felt his heart clench at the thought.Your mother must have read his thoughts. "Oh dear, don't worry everything is fine at home. They just don't talk much." He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Your mother giggled. "You surely do care about Y/N don't you?" He paused. Did he? He shook his head. "Of course. They are one of my students after all." Your mother simply smiled, but her eyes said something else. "Of course Mr. Baldi. Though I must say," She leans forward "Y/N does talk about you quite a lot." Baldi flushed. You did? You talked about him?  He didn't believe it. Why was his heart fluttering like this? Stupid heart..acting....dumb. "They do?" He said. She nodded. "Why of course!" She smirked, "You are their teacher after all. They talk about how they make you frustrated that you can't catch them with a wrong answer and such. I see how they brighten up about talking about you and her friends. I am glad, as they didn't really have "real" friends during her years growing up." She said. Baldi furrowed his brows. "What do you mean." Your mother looked him in the eye. "Growing up Y/N was extremely smart, they still are of course but anyway! She would be picked on during elementary and middle school for their good grades." Baldi felt his blood chill, that reminded him of himself  when he was younger. "Then in middle school and high school it seemed to get better. But as it turned out, the ones surrounding g them, even their teachers wanted to be around them because they all realized Y/N would get somewhere in life." Right then, It clicked for Baldi. They say that you were going to be successful and only wanted to be around you to take advantage of your kind heart. It made his blood boil.

Your mother laughed. "You know. If I didn't know any better I'd say you are quite protective of them." He felt himself blush. "W-What? How so? "He said. Your mother smiled. "Because you get angry when they are hurt, you kid around with them, help them and want to protect them. Surely its not just because you're their teacher right?" Baldi paused at this. Was your mother right? He wasn't sure. He didn't know of his feelings. He didn't know what to think. Your mother smiled. "I'm just teasing you dear." He had a feeling she wasn't kidding from the smirk on her lips. "Speaking of Y/N, how about we go and get them. I don't think the'd want to wait while we stand here chit chatting. " Right. You needed to get home and rest, he knew you wouldn't be a problem when it came to homework, as you had already proven you'd be able to get it done and bring it in on time. "R-Right of course!" He said. He straightened, and led the way. He felt his face burning, and he wished nothing more than for it to stop.

You're sitting in the Principals office just watching as he typed on his computer while you waited for your mother to come back. "Alright Y/N, Your checked out. Your mother should be back shortly." You smiled. "Thank you." You say. "How is your eye doing?" He said after a moment. You pause. "Oh-it doesn't hurt anymore but I just think that's due to the ice numbing it." His gaze softened. "I hope you do get better. Don't worry, be assured that Baldi and I will make sure this does not happen again." You smile. "Thank you again." He smiles back kindly. "It is my pleasure." A knock was heard on his door. You already knew who it was.

Your mother and Baldi appeared in the doorway. You pause, staring at Baldi. What was going on with his face? What did your mother do to him? He looked like a tomato. "Hello honey. How are you feeling?" Your mother said. You smile. "I'm ok for now mom. Don't worry. 'Sides I'm tough." You say. "I know you are honey. Let's get you home. Thanks you two for everything. " She said, talking to the principal and your teacher. "Anytime ma'am. Please take care." Principal said. Baldi gave you a small smile and waved. You waved back to him and gave him a small smile. You turned, and followed your mother out the door.

What is going on with this fluttering in your chest?!
