You jumped up and down on the spot excitedly, as your friend gave you a shared look at your exaggerated reaction. "That. Was. The. Best. Movie. Ever!"

She grinned and nodded at you, shaking your shoulders wildly, "I know, I cried like twice!"

"Welp, I cried like 4 times. But just- the animation, the movement, the dialogue! It was amazing!" You exclaimed as the two of you continued to walk out of the cinema doors, tossing an empty plastic packet of skittles in the bin nearby.

"Alright you Marvel geek, getting all analytical and stuff." She told you with a smile, you nudging her playfully in return.

"What can I say? I've literally got all the time in the world. You know me, barely leaving the house," you replied half-jokingly.

Alright, maybe not joking at all.

F/N blinked suddenly, before reaching into her small backpack, which was filled with candy wrappers and a squashed popcorn box. She pulled out her phone and placed it against her ear, holding a finger up to excuse herself for a moment.

Nodding silently, you let her walk away before moving your own legs towards the high definition 3D movie posters advertising the newest and hottest films. Observing the 'Bumblebee' and 'Mary Poppins Returns', you finally stopped at the movie you had just finished watching with your friend.

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," you read aloud, smiling.

You still remember watching the trailer in your room, after your friend had linked it to you.

It featured your new favourite character (in terms of design, since you hadn't seen the movie yet to know how she was like), and you watched in fascination as the trailer of played and the character skated along the sides of the buildings.

Although you hadn't seen it yet at the time, you had very briefly read the Velvet Spider comics but stopped after realising it may spoil some scenes.

"The Velvet Spider's so cool." You had murmured, feeling slightly bummed that your world wasn't like the ones in the movies or books.

She looked strikingly similar to you, and in a way, it made you feel kind of cool. Even F/N had pointed it out, that if you were to be animated into a cartoon, you would look like her. That's part of the reason she was your favourite character so far.
