Around 10:30 or so I got out of bed, I went through my normal morning routine. After my shower and brushing my teeth, I went and sat on the couch. I pulled out my phone and dialed Brantley's number. Yes I had already memorized it.

"yello?"Brantley answered in a gruff half asleep voice

"Oh, I'm sorry did I wake you. It's Daisy" I knew I should have waited another hour to call.

"no, your good you didn't wake me" he said.

"oh good, well how are you?" We talked for a while and then he asked if we could hang out. I agreed hoping that I didn't sound too enthusiastic.

"Oh sweet Loretta Lynn!" I screamed after I had hung up.

I had three hours before we had to meet. But I decided to go ahead and get ready. I put my WILD AND FREE shirt with the daisies on and some shorts. Then I put my black fringe boots on and my daisy headband. I fixed my make up to look natural. By the time I was finished getting ready, I had one hour left. I couldn't wait any longer so I decided to go ahead and head to where we were meeting.

I arrived at the Waffle House early. So I waited in my truck for awhile.Then I saw him pull up. I get out of the truck and waited on the side walk for him. We walk in and everyone says hey to me. I may or may not go to Waffle House a lot so everyone knows me there. I wave back to them and we head to a booth in the corner.

"So you come here alot?" he asked.

"meeee? nooooo"I say innocently.

We order and then sit and talk for about a hour. Finally he says "Want to go somewhere?"

"Sure, can you follow me home and so we can just take your truck?" I ask.

He agrees..

~~~
He follows me to my house. I get out of my truck and see Brantley looking at my house with amazement in his eyes. I live in a two story clay adobe like home. I walk over to his truck and tap on the window. He jumps and looks at me. He climbs out and says "sorry it's just that your house is beautiful."
"Thanks, want to come inside or wait out here while I grab something from inside?" I ask. He gives me a look that says seriously. I kind of laugh and say "ok then follow me."
I unlock the front door and we walk in. He walks through the door and looks around in awe. My entry way is painted dark brown and has a huge picture of me, my Granddaddy (Willie Nelson), Uncle Hank, Uncle George, Uncle Merle and Aunt Loretta. He finally looks back at me and says "you met all them?"
I look at him and say "nah duh! My granddaddy IS Willie Nelson. of course I have." He sticks his tongue out at me and laughs.
"So wanna see the rest of the house?" I ask.
He nods eagerly and follows me. We go into the living room. My living room is painted dark blue and black. I have pictures of my Granddaddy singing, him and my grandmamma, and some pictures of other country legends. In the corner is my guitar and music stuff. In front of a little window is my record player and cd player. He again looks so amazed. He looks around the room and then gives me a confused look.
"What?" I ask.
"You don't have a television?" He responds.
"Yeah I do it's just upstairs in my room." he nods his head. I show him the rest of the house and he loves it.
After I grab everything I need, we walk out of the house. He sees my Harley and goes nuts. I have a 2007 fatboy. Its black with a baby blue outline. It has saddle bags and a back rest. On one side it says "Free Soul" in baby blue paint.
He practically yells " you ride?!?!?!?"
"yeah I love it! Wanna go riding instead of the park?" I reply.
"of course! let me go home drop my truck off and get one of my bikes." he says running to his truck.
"hold up a second. you have more than one?" I ask.
"yeah" he says
"I will follow you to your house then, so I can see your bikes." I suggest and he nods and waits for me to put on some jeans and grab my leather jacket and helmet.
 I followed him to his house and told him to ride his 99' Soft tail Custom. We rode for hours. We laughed each time we passed each other. He led me to his favorite spot. It was a beautiful spot out on Potts Farm. We parked the bikes. We sat in the grass and talked for about an hour. I looked over and his hand was on top of mine.
