We laid there like that for at least two more hours until I heard my phone ringing. I glanced at it to see who it was, it was my best friend Lindsay.

"Hey girl" -Daisy

"Hey!" - Lindsay
"What's going on?"-Daisy
"Chase and I are at your house, where are you?" - Lindsay
"Oh, I'm actually at a friend's house"- Daisy
"ooh ok, I guess we will see you later then"
"Alright cool, I'm sorry, I love y'all."-Daisy
"It's fine, we love you too. Bye"- Lindsay
"Ok Bye" – Daisy

Brantley looked at me with hurt look in his eyes.

"at a friend's house?"

"Brantley, I want to tell Granddaddy first before anyone else." I said. I slide over closer to him and put my head on his chest.

"Can we just stay like this today and maybe get to know each other a bit better?" I ask.
He kisses my head and says, "Anything for you."

"So, tell me all about yourself" I say.

He thinks for a minute and says " ok umm so my name is Brantley Keith Gilbert. I am 29, I am from Jefferson, Ga, I have 1 real brother and 1 foster type of brother. I have been half way to Heaven and my momma, Becky, is my angel."

I look at him and say, "What do you see in your future?"

He grabs my hands and says, "I see myself moving back to Georgia and starting a family with you and continuing my career."

I lean in and kiss him and say, "I think I am falling for you."

"Ok, it's your turn" he says.

"Alright, my name is Marguerite Daisy Nelson. I am 25. I am from Appling, Ga. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I have been through hell and Jesus found me. My granddaddy is my hero."

He looks at me and says, "What do you mean you have been through hell?"

I look down and say, "Well I am Willie Nelson's granddaughter, at 18 I had gotten into some real bad stuff, and it was easy to get to it. I went to rehab for a year." I told him.

He looks at me and then reaches out to hold me. Then he told me his story, "I was 19, I was on my way home and I was drunk. I hit a tree after my truck flipped 6 times"

"Oh My Goodness" I hold him tighter.

"Brantley, you are the only person I have ever told about my past" I whisper. He kisses my head and holds me tighter.
