GIOVANNI ORTEGA

After spending the day meeting with connects and putting on the face of business. I was antsy and ready to do what I have been planning for months. Ghost took me to eat then we headed back to change. We both brought all place long sleeve shirts and jeans with gloves and hats. Ghost didn't speak after we changed.

After we changed, we headed toward the door only for Ghost to stop me by pulling into his chest. His lips were against my ear as he held me this his hand resting on my stomach.

"You sure you ready for this ma?"

"I been ready"

"I got your back"

"I know"

He kissed my cheek before letting me go and we headed out. There was a truck waiting for us with a big guy driving. He nodded at Ghost as we got in. The whole ride I kept having flashes of memories from when I was with her. I felt my hands start to shake making me close my eyes and breathe. Ghost grabbed my hand and kissed it, calming me down.

When we pulled up, all of my nerves were gone. I got out of the car with Ghost behind me. I followed the driver inside and down to a basement. I walked in and laid eyes on the beginning of my misery for the first time in over ten years. She had clearly been roughed up but nothing too serious.

I smiled at the guard before nodding towards the door. He walked out and closed it, leaving only me her and Ghost. I grabbed a bucket of water from the table and threw it on her, waking her up instantly. She looked terrified and my heart smiled.

"Please" she begged "I can give you money! Anything!"

"Oh I don't think you can give me what I'm looking for"

"W-w-what?"

"W-w-w-what I said was, you can't give me what I'm looking for... Shacey"

"Y-y-you know my name?"

"I know everything I need to know about you Shacey"

"Who are you?" she cried harder

"Doesn't matter now" i played with the different weapons before picking up whip

"Please! I don't even know you! I haven't done anything!"

Then I saw red. I grip the whip handle before hitting her in her face and body several times. I dropped it and grabbed a knife.

"Now" I took a deep breath "I want you to think looooong and hard Shacey. Who could possibly want to do this to you? Who's life could you have possibly ruined"

"I don't know"

I shook my head "The fact that I was so easily forgettable for you isn't helping your case Ms. Ma'am"

She lifted her head and froze as our eyes locked. I knew calling her the name I was instructed to would jog her memory. I could feel the evil smirk spread across my face.

"G-G-G-Gio?"

"Ding ding ding! Good job"

"Gio please! I took care of you—"

Her scream cut her sentence short as I stabbed her in the left thigh then removed it staring in her eyes.

"YOU SOLD ME!" I slashed the blade across her face leave a long strip breeding down her cheek "two fucking thousand dollars! That's how much my life was worth to you!"

"I couldn't keep—"

"I begged you to take me back! I begged you to call my brother! And never did you think once to do that"
