I thought I was pretty much done for, but I guess I was wrong. I don't know what or how Christen is affecting the things inside this temple... no. This island is like at the mercy of her will. Anyway, I am pretty much grateful that I was saved from having to deal with a ton of pain. Thank you, Bruce!

Like I said before, I totally wasn't expecting the brown bear to launch itself towards the statue and block the spear with its paw. The animal growled at me as if wanting me to hurry behind his jock. So, I guess it's time for me to bail out of this situation. Wait for me, Christen! I slipped through the space created by the paws, the spear and the ground and ran. I ran until I was out of breath. I am pretty sure I am not being followed. That's an efficient way to use taunt. A sudden shriek reminded me that I should keep moving. I don't want to end in the crossfire.

"So dark..." I did venture forward as... suggested? What do you call when a furry pal basically urges you to move forwards while they tank all the damage? Never mind... I have been playing too many games. Games? That word sounds familiar, but I cannot grasp exactly how or why.

One could have guessed that a ruin would have passageways, traps and secret doors, right? The pretty strange thing is that I have been walking forward and I have not seen any of that! It's a pretty big hallway though. As I turn my head right, I could see pictographs of jaguars and eagles and, on the left, I am watching warriors and rituals painted with red. I am going to imagine it is paint. Yes. Just paint. Apart from the drawings on the sides, there's cobblestone on the ground and that's basically it. It's not lit though, so I can barely see!

"I wonder where Christen went..." I am getting pretty anxious as the solitude of losing my companion is getting on my nerves. I cannot hear the battle anymore, but I also am being deceived by a combination of silence and nothingness. How much longer is this passage? It has been going on for like an eternity.

My feet hurt. I don't want to go any longer. Christen come back! I am so alone. I feel so vulnerable. I am wearing a summer dress inside a tomb. It's not even funny anymore! This is a bad joke. I will cry, you know! Ugh. Time still rolls on as I continue to wonder the marvelous endless passage. That was sarcasm. I hate this place. Who even designed it?!

"Christen!" I shouted for the first time and I hated it! My voice is so high-pitched that I think I made some bats cry. I'm not even joking! Those things came flapping their wings like over-sized rats. The problem was that they were the size of a small dog.

"I'm over here!" An answer?! Christen?! Thank goodness! I was so afraid, but I will never ever in my entire life accept that!

I ran as fast as I could! It was the full throttle that my bare feet could come with. I am pretty sure several minutes passed until I saw a greenish light come into view. It started as a glimmer, but as I started to get closer, it shone brighter and brighter until I was left blind! I blinked several times.

"I cannot see!" I cried in exasperation. It was probably born from the frustration I felt, desperation from being alone and the anger from my aching feet. Don't blame me.

When I was finally able to see what was in front of me, I was astonished. Christen was holding a...
