Thirteen

All of our friend group was invited by Sebastian to come over to his house, of course, I was the first one to arrive since he came to my house and picked me up. His parents weren't home and his little sister Armelle was asleep in one of the rooms next door and his other sister Eve was also in her room doing whatever pre-teen girls do. Everyone else arrived soon after we got back there and we all were chilling up in Sebastian's bedroom. They were telling Josh and me about funny things that had happened before we came into the group.

"No I'm really not joking, he really went up to this poor girl and professed his love to her - like down on his knees and he didn't even realize that her boyfriend was literally right in front of her!" Aarya said between fits of laughter

"It was an accident! I didn't know! And I was in fourth grade!" Max whined causing the rest of us to laugh as they broke out into an argument. I was honestly surprised Elle hadn't woken up because of how loud we were being.

Amidst the commotion, I received a text message, so I averted my attention away from the conversation, still laughing slightly, to read the text

Within seconds the smile was wiped from my face as I noticed what the number appeared as;

unknown number.

I opened the text anyway, maybe it was just a wrong number text or something...

'We are almost ready, well be there soon'

I almost thought that it actually was a wrong number text, until I realized that I could scroll up and see the other messages that the stalker person had sent. My happy mood was almost instantaneously ruined.

I excused myself to the bathroom, walking out of Sebastian's room as they continued to laugh about the stories, walking past the bathroom and down into the kitchen. I grabbed my hair and pulled slightly.

What did that text message even mean? They are almost ready... Why does weird and horrible stuff always happen to me? What did I do to deserve this? Will I ever catch a break? I put my face in my hands and wracked my brain for an answer, but to no avail.

Suddenly I felt two hands on my shoulders, I jumped and gasped in fear, turning to see Sebastian's face. He chuckled, apologizing for saying me, having my hands in guys and swaying them a little bit.

"Are you ok? I noticed you looked a little scared when leaving my room and the bathroom door was open so..." He said softly, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me into a backward hug, resting his chin on top of my head.

I typed into my phone, "Yeah I'm good, just needed a little breather"

"I always need a breather when I'm with you" He sort of mumbled, pulling me in a little closer. I blushed, smiling and looking down not knowing how to respond. It was quiet for a few seconds while he basically cradled me before we heard yelling from the top of the stairs.

"OH MY GOD, THAT WAS SO CUTE!" Kacees voice yelled, gushing with excitement.

My head snapped over to her to see that she wasn't the only one there, the rest of the group was standing behind her.

"How long have you guys been up there?" Sebastian asked, seeming a little embarrassed but not letting me go.

"Are you guys a thing?" Mari asked confused as they started making their way down the stairs.

"Yeah, you guys have been really close lately, especially since you guys are like cuddling and Talon doesn't let anybody touch him... So, are you dating?" Aarya agreed.

Sebastian gave a smug smile before saying "not yet," promoting me to blush even harder

"Who knew Sebastian Reynolds was so smooth" Cameron commented.
