"No I don't want to!" Lilah complains.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad!" I exclaimed.

"It is! Please let's just go home. We can finish watching the show while we eat and snuggle in some warm blankets," she pouts.

"Lilah it's friggin August. Why would we snuggle in warm blankets?" I rolled my eyes as I sat up.

I was currently sitting on a couch while I waited for Lilah to come out and show me the dresses she was trying on for her cousins upcoming wedding.

"I'll just crank up the AC and then we can bring out the fluffy blankets," she chirps from the other side of the door.

"Lilah that's ridiculous. Just come out and show me the dress," I huffed.

"No! I already told you it doesn't look good on me. It makes me look so fat! I'm tired of all of this! I'm starving!"

I quietly laughed at the fact that she just called herself fat before saying she was ready to eat.

"Stop laughing, I heard what I said. Can we just please go home!" She was getting irritated.

"If you show me one dress! Just one! I'll take you home and binge watch the rest of the show with you and order pizza and your favorite disgustingly sweet strawberry lemonade," I bargain.

I was loosing more in this offer!

"And we can go out for ice cream afterward?" She asks.

"No!" I squint in surprise.

'How dare she think she could ask for more!'

"Then I'm not coming out in the dress!"

I could already tell she was sitting down and crossing her arms like a child.

"Lilah I will barge in and dress you myself, I have no problem doing that. Come out and show me a dress," I growled in frustration.

"Fine!"

I hear some scurrying and ruffles. The door suddenly opens. As I look up to finally see my gorgeous girlfriend in a dress, I get hit in the face with some fabric.

She was storming off.

'Oh boy, I shouldn't have pushed her. I mean she's on her period for crying out loud, she gets all cranky and weird this time of the month!'

"Lilah! Wait!" I chase after her.

She disappeared through the clothing racks.

'I am in some deep shit right now. There's no way she's not pissed off.'

I try looking for her everywhere, but it was no use. There wasn't any cell reception in this part of the mall, so calling her wasn't going to help.

Instead I decided to step out and try calling her from outside the store until she finally answered when she's got service.

I rush out and grab my phone. I was about to click on her adorable contact photo of her hugging the big teddy bear I got her one day for no reason, when something tells me to look up beside me.

Sure enough she's sitting on a couch outside the Barnes n Noble store, munching on what looked like a family size Cheese Cheeto Puffs bag.

'Typical.'

I tuck my phone away and walk towards her.

I know she knew I was there, but she kept looking down while she munched on those gross chips of hers.
