"Ugh I hate her so much! Thank goodness she looks terrible!" Irene groans as she takes a seat on Jakes lap.

His avatar ends up missing and gets shot by someone else.

"Dang it!" He complains.

"What are you bitching about this time," I roll my eyes as

"Lilah. Nina Anderson just posted a picture of her and a few friends for her Breakfast birthday this morning. Lilah is in it, and she isn't looking so hot," Irene smirks.

"What do you mean?" Nick asks the question that's running through our heads.

"She clearly lost a lot of weight and it's not flattering, also no makeup anymore. I mean the whole point of wearing it, is that it covers up imperfections. Also, why is she even wearing that stupid shirt I got her from Bora Bora? Is she trying to rub it in my face?" Irene scoffs.

I take her phone and the rest of the guys huddle close to take a look at the photo.

Sure enough, it was Nina Anderson from high school. Lilah was next to her, in between a few other girls that we know from high school. They looked like they had just finished working out and decided to have a nice breakfast together.

Sure enough, the caption read that they had gone for a hike and they were going to have a nice healthy meal. Lilah did look a little tired, but then again she had just came back from a run.

"So why are you obsessing over her?" I asked a little annoyed.

"I am not obsessing over her, I just am pointing things out. It's annoying!" she rolls her eyes.

"She's hanging out with other people, enjoying her life. Why don't you let her do so?" I scoffed.

"Why do you keep defending her if she broke your heart?" she crosses her arms.

"I broke her heart. Not the other way around. Are you really going to stoop that low?" I glare.

"Yes, I am. She's annoying me, and I get to vent if I want to," she shrugs.

"You sound like a bitch," Nick snorts.

"Well she is one," I say and she gives me death glares.

"Whatever, at least I'm actually saying what everyone is thinking. I mean you all know how she is. You used to spend time with her," Irene rolls her eyes again.

"Yeah, because we were all friends, and you happen to be her best friend. Now all you do is yap about how she annoys you or what she did to 'provoke' you, when she's just trying to get away from you and your obnoxious made up comments," I replied pointedly.

"Are you still in love with her or something?" Irene smirks as she crosses her arms.

"Yes."

She looked taken aback by my response. As if she wasn't expecting me to tell the truth.

"Whatever let's go. I'm in the mood for some pizza and we need to do some shopping for the party tomorrow," Jake says as he lightly pushes Irene off.

We all get up and try to pile into the van. As always Irene is at the front with Jake. While the rest of us sit in the back.

We arrive at the pizza shop and take a seat by the window.

Irene and Jake went to go order for us while we waited in our seats.

"We should plan a trip to San Diego. It'd be fun. We could go to the beach, eat out all the time. Go to mission beach and try the escape room they have there," Gus suggested.
