I remember that day clearly. The day that everything changed. It was Monday, November 1. I had just turned seven years old. As I sat in the car, heading to my new home, I stared out my window, watching the raindrops race down the window. The rain wasn't helping the fact that it was a sad day. Mrs. Anderson tried to cheer me up, but all I wanted was to see my dad again. I had never been to Seal Beach, California before. In fact I had never even been to California, until Mrs. Anderson said that a nice family wanted to adopt me, so I packed my bags and we headed to California.
When I had first arrived at my new home, I was really quiet. I didn't talk at first, but after three months living there, I started to talk again. My new brothers did everything and anything to entertain me, before they went away to college. They used to sing to me, though they sounded really bad, but it was always funny to hear them try. They used to read me bedtime stories. They even scared away a boy that was picking on me in elementary school. They are my best friends, who I wouldn't trade for the world. They even introduced me to one of my other best friends, Chance, but you'll hear about him soon enough.
My name is Samantha. I am nineteen years old. I have shoulder length brown hair, and ocean blue eyes. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio but like I said earlier, I live in Seal Beach, California. My mom died when I was about three years old, and my father died in a car accident when I was six, just two weeks before my seventh birthday. That's why I moved here to Seal Beach. I have three brothers; Jack, Joe and Jeffrey, who are triplets. When I first met them, I thought it was funny that my new foster parents named them with the letter 'J' beginning. Anyways, I also have a pug named Cookie, who I've had since I was eleven. I'm probably boring you now, so that's enough about me.
