Everything was going perfect... Until Chance, being the klutz he is, knocked over his coffee, causing it to spill everywhere. His face turned really red, due to the amount of embarrassment he just caused, while I burst out laughing. I feel kind of bad for laughing, but it was hilarious. "Samantha, this is no joking matter. Help me clean up," he exclaims. I stop laughing and help him clean the spill, just as the waitress comes with our food. She asks if Chance wanted another coffee, free of charge, but he said no. As soon as she left, we quickly ate, before paying, then we continued our adventure.
We got in the car and headed to the next place. Chance plugs his phone into the aux chord, and puts on Somebody to Love by Queen, and starts singing it. I swear, I could listen to this boy sing all day, and not get tired of it. "Aw, San, that was such a nice compliment," he says, putting his hand on my arm. I feel my face heat up. Dang, I seriously said that out loud. I nervously laugh.
"Well, you're welcome. The only reason I'm even complimenting you is because it's your birthday. I'm kind of obligated to be nice to you," I laugh. He smiles.
"And if you're not, you know if jump out of this moving car." When we stop at a red light, I punch him in the arm. "OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR," he yells, grabbing his arm.
"Chance, you're such a big baby. I barely even hit you. And that was for lying. You and I both know you wouldn't jump out of a moving car," I smile, before driving again.
He rolls his eyes and mumbles something under his breathe. "What was that, Chance? Speak up, I couldn't hear you. I know you weren't talking back to me, because you know for a fact I'd hit you again."
"All I said was that you know me too well, I swear! I didn't talk back. Please don't hurt me," he says, covering his face while smiling. I laugh, as I pull the car into a parking lot. When I park, we get out of the car, and Chance looks around. "What are we doing here," he asks, as a couple of little kids run by us.
