When he comes out of his room, he is wearing a black hoodie, jeans, and black converse. "Can I eat first," he asks, before I hear a loud grumbling sound, which I assume is his stomach. I laugh and shake my head no. He groans, rolls his eyes, and walks into the bathroom to brush his teeth and do his hair.
"You know, Chance, I never asked for your sass," I say, leaning against the bathroom doorway.
"Well, that's what you get for waking me up at 5:15 in the morning." I look at the time on my phone. We are going to be late!
"Hurry up and finish getting ready! We are going to be late," I say, before walking into the living room to wait for him. Five minutes later, he comes out of the bathroom, and we get in my car to leave.
"So, San, where are we going?"
"Well, you'll just have to wait and find out."
"Can we stop at IHOP at least? I'm starving!"
"Chance, you're always hungry. Also, not until this first stop. Then, I'll take you wherever you want for breakfast." He smiles, plugs to aux chord into his phone, before playing one of our favorite songs, This is Me from "The Greatest Showman" movie. Chance starts singing and dancing in the passenger seat, and I can't help but laugh.
"What's so funny? This is my jam," he screams, before going back to singing and dancing. That only causes me to laugh even harder.
