Finding you

The Lost City

Lyra

My head hurt as I woke up with a pounding headache making me groan as I stand back onto my feet while looking around for Spring only to find her gone.

"Spring?! Spring?!" I felt dizzy and heartbroken as I continued forward while lecturing myself.

Who took her? Where did she go? Is she ok? Well one things for certain. I am not going back to my pack until I find her. I love her. Even if she doesn't know what love is yet I told her that I was willing to wait but if she's dead then... I wouldn't know what to do.

Spring

It took us an hour or so before we reached a strange cave making me utterly confused as both Neo and Nivea stop. I tense as Nivea Gently grabbed my hand making her frown out of worry.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah. I just don't do good in tight places."

"Don't worry. I'll be by your side every step of the way. Just don't let go of my hand ok? The cave maybe small but there are multiple other caves inside this cave. So there's a good chance you could get lost if you take a wrong turn."

"Oh great. Now I feel a bit better." I say sarcastically making Nieva chuckle as Neo rolled her eyes.

"Shouldn't you light a torch?"

"There's no point since Neo and I can see in the dark."

"Oh... lucky you."

Neo- "Don't Tell me your kind can't see in the dark?"

"There's a lot of things my kind can't do that you guys can. For instance where not as strong as you are and we can't control the elements."

Neo- "Jeez you people are weak. Why are kind lost to you I may never know."

"Neo. That's enough, you know why we just didn't expect them to join the fight and bring those things called guns."

"Can you tell me about the war?" It was quite making me lecture myself for even asking such a question. I mean she did say her parents died in the war so it must be hard for her to talk about it.

"S-Sorry. You don't have to talk about it I was just curious."

"It's ok. It's just hard to talk about. I wasn't apart of the war since I was to young but all I really know of it is that my parents and a few hunters went to our enemies to discuss peace with our people. But the only solution the Blood red moon pack came up with was that I had to marry the commanders daughter. Let's just say my parents were not to keen on arranged marriages. If I would have known about it I would have accepted their offer to avoid war but my mothers wanted me to find love like they did."

"Wait. So you where supposed to marry Lyra?"

"Kinda. It's funny. When I first met you I asked you who's Lyra but the truth is I knew who she was the whole time even if you never told me I just... wanted to start a conversation with you."

"Ouch!" I say loudly as I stump my foot into a rock.

Neo- "Watch out there's a rock."

I scowl a bit towards where I heard Neo's voice. Honestly, she seemed so interested in me before but now it's almost as if she hates me.

"Ok what's your problem? One minute your interested in me the next your not. I just don't get it."
