Spring

After I had officially build my hut with the help of most of the villagers I planned on meeting up with that girl I met at the waterfall pond. Hopefully she's still there, if she is I would like to make friends with her even though the commander specifically told me to stay away from them she didn't seem to bad since she heals my hand.

Looking over towards the woods I was surprised to see Lyra running into the village with sheer panic in her eyes until her stunning silver ones connected to my plain blue ones making me send her a harsh glare before entering my new hut. Just before I entered however I could see relief flash through her eyes as she walked towards the commanders tent making me sigh heavily.

As I waited in my tent for a few hours just to be sure nobody needed me I snuck into the woods in hopes to see her again.

I'm not sure why I found myself so interested in her I just am.

Finally making it to the waterfall pond I deflated as I saw nobody there making me reluctantly turn around only to scream in fright as I saw the white haired girl standing right behind me looking a tad bit annoyed.

"Your a week late."

I blushed as she grabbed my hand just to examine it before nodding in confirmation.

"Your hand has healed well. So are you going to tell me your story?"

"Sure." Sitting next to a large tree we talked for what felt like hours. I told her about my home and how my father and I came to this Island to which she was also interested in knowing more about the helicopters. In return she told me about what their kind could do since Lyra and the commander have failed to mention anything to me and as it turns out these people can actually control the elements but it takes high concentration to do so and lots of practice but only few Can Really master all four elements.

"Hey. I just realized something."

"What?"

"Well I never asked you your name." She smiled as she gently grabbed my hand making my heart pound unnaturally.

"Nieva. And yours?"

"It's spring."

"Spring? That's an unusual name."

"So is Nieva." She laughed making me smile as I looked at the sky sighing heavily.

"It's getting late. I should get going."

"Can we meet again? I really like you Spring. Your really interesting to me."

"I'm not sure. My pack is pretty protective of me and it has been proven difficult to sneak out."

"Alright then. I'll wait here from noon to evening every day until I can see you again. I would really love to get to know you more."

I smile as I wave goodbye to Nieva while walking back into the forest hoping that nobody has realized that I've been gone yet. But as soon as I enter the village Lyra confronts me looking pissed beyond belief.

"Where the fuck where you!"

I wince at her harsh voice as I looked around at all the people staring at us. I really hated the attention being put on me.

"I went for a swim."

"I forbid you to leave this camp!"

"You can't keep me locked up here forever Lyra." All of a sudden my head whipped to the side making my eyes widen as tears threatened to spill. Did she really just slap me? I mean she can't do that right? She's only two years older then me.
