The summer weeks passed by very quickly and it was time for school. (Y/n) woke up from his slumber and sat up. He put on his glasses from his bedside table, getting out from under the covers. He went to the window to open the blinds.
(y/n): "I'm not really excited about this." The view outside saw the sun just about to rise.
He made his bed, his first task completed. He went to his closet, took out his uniform, and set it down on his bed. The thought of who he will meet will become the forefront of his mind. It's the shaky anticipation that is going to hold him back.
(y/n): "Just keep calm. You'll get through this. It's for dad and the family."
The tight feeling of his stomach brought him back to reality. Time to get ready for school. (Y/n) headed to the bathroom, waking himself up with some cold water for the added shock. He wet his hair and cleaned his face of the gunk from his sleep. Sighing, he then began brushing his teeth.
After he was done with that, he went back into his room to brush his hair and fur on his ears and tail. His attention then turned to his uniform for Phoenix Drop High. Picking up the hanger with the blazer and shirt, he examined the clothing. It might not be the best looking nor the worst.
"Let's just get this over with," He murmured, taking off his shirt.
(Y/n) unbuttoned the top and put it on, buttoning up the dress shirt. He then put the blazer on, making sure to try and straighten out the insignia. Afterward, he put on his grey pants. His tail did have trouble with the clothing since he couldn't see behind him. He did get it through though. Last up is the tie. With a bit of work and a video to watch, he got it done.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "(Y/n), it's almost time for school!" His father called up the stairs.
(y/n): "I'll be down in a bit!"
He stretched his tail and ears to prepare them for the day ahead. (Y/n) then grabbed his backpack with the many school supplies he may need and left his room. He then went downstairs to the kitchen from some breakfast of toast and eggs with orange juice.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Ready for school?" His father sat down across from him, placing down packed lunches, (2ndf/c) for the father, and (f/c) for the son.
(y/n): "I'll admit, I'm nervous."
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Don't worry about it. Just be sure to make a few connections, you don't need much."
(y/n): "All right. I'll do my best."
(Kiran/(f/n)): "That's what I like to hear!"
They both finished their breakfast and left the house, (Kiran/(f/n)) to work, (y/n) to school. The blue haired Meif'wa was dropped off at the front of the school and there were many people waiting. He looked to his father for reassurance and the older Meif'wa gave a serious look and nod. Taking a deep breath, he walked to the school's entrance, already feeling the looks of the other students. His father drove off to his workplace.
"Who is that?" One asked.
"Is he new?" Another said.
"I don't know but he looks so cool."
Many wondered while he just went to the fountain, sitting on the edge. He looked to the new faces that surrounded him. The new path of his school career is about to begin.
-(y/n) POV-
The people around me then stopped wondering about who I was. It's best that they don't know. Dad, I'm going to try for you. I'll make it through this if it's the last thing I do. I got onto my phone and there were no messages so I just played a phone game.
