-(Kiran/(f/n)) POV-
"Eric, why would you tell her?" I asked him, leaning back against the arms chair. My hand rested on my forehead, massaging my temple.
"Your son and my sugar pea had gotten closer. How was I not supposed to tell her?" He said, looking out to the front of his house.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Maybe tell me before you do it? That's just careless of you to do that."
Eric: "Oh really? Would it be careless to protect my sugar pea?" His gaze snapped to me. He wanted to seem intimidating, but I am not flinching nor backing down now.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Yes! The fact that you did so and having my son involved with this is just senseless!" I stood up from the chair. I was trying to hold back, yet why would he just do that?
Eric: "Well, if you hadn't told me about it, I wouldn't have done so!" Eric turned to me, a distraught look on his face.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "I thought you could keep it a secret until the time is right! It wasn't my fault that my son met your daughter!"
Eric: "If you hadn't move here, maybe they wouldn't have!" Now that is pushing my buttons.
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Still, not my fault!"
Eric: "Oh you say that but you know who else you took away from me?!"
(Kiran/(f/n)): "Don't you fucking bring her into this!" I pointed to him, putting my hand down. I'm trying so hard not to unleash my anger.
Eric: "Oh I'm bringing it up! She's the reason why your son is alive!"
I could not contain myself and punched Eric. The fact he would bring my son into this is a heinous intention. We just stared at each other, an atmosphere of tension between us. He pointed to the door, telling me to leave. I sighed and stepped outside.
I just don't know anymore. I felt the anger fade away from within and being replaced with sorrow and regret. Eric was the person who had sat down with me and talked about the woman we both loved years ago. He was the catalyst who made me become the person I am now. He introduced me to new people, like Zianna and Maria. I sighed, rubbing my eyes. I gave a chuckle, feeling the warm drops of tears falling from my eyes.
-Eric's POV-
With that, (Kiran/(f/n)) stepped outside. I can't believe he'd punch me like that. Rubbing the spot, it wasn't much. He was holdin' back. I laid back onto the couch, looking at the picture of him and I ten years ago. That was around the time of when we found out about the truth. We were dating the same woman. That his son and my daughter were from the same woman.
My sugar pea was around seven and his boy was eight. They hadn't met each other because of the worry about them thinking that they were lost siblings. Even though my sugar pea and Kacey were old enough to know that they were siblings, having (y/n) around would mess with their minds, ya know?
I placed myself down on the couch. Thinking back on it now, maybe I should've let them meet. I was protective over my little sugar pea meeting that boy that I never realized how it could affect the future. Especially now with my sugar pea in her room with (y/n), both probably knowing the full truth about their relationship.
I looked down to the carpet under the coffee table. Maybe I should've waited for (Kiran/(f/n)) to give the signal, instead of just revealing it like that. That man was my friend that I have come to know as a brother of mine. It didn't feel right when he punched me, but I regret not really telling him. After a few minutes, I stood up and walked to the door. Through the peephole, (Kiran/(f/n)) was sitting on the steps. I opened the door and he turned to face me.
